I think a companion character would be sweet if it was like r2d2 or some kind of droid or alien that helped in some quirky way ala "r2d2 as a locksmith/hacker" but just like repaired your ship and stuff while you were doing more important things.

That dude needs to learn how to jump too lol. But seriously that by itself isn't really a game breaker but it adds to realism and it would be nice if you could do it.
