• Quite strange.  It reset my password for the forum, which I now have access to.  I still however do not have access to the main game.  Not a fix, but a step forward none the less.

• This issue is mentioned in numerous other threads.  You are correct.  Once you complete step one the database makes your code invalid, most likely to prevent numerous people registering with the some code.  However, your account isn't created until …

• What do you see that I don't?   "If you have forgotten your password, please send a mail to support@play-earthrise.com with your user name or forum registration name from the mail which was registered for beta."

• The Earthrise password reset tool is via email to support@earthrise.com.  I've emailed them and have not received a response in the initial 5 hours.  Still waiting.
