Yeah, I don't understand what you just said. What you're saying sounds like you're just applying the 1280 patch files to KO, but with KO in a different folder..........which doesn't sound like it would make a difference.

Yeah, that didn't work for me. I still get the error box saying "OK". This is ridiculous. So many people are getting this error and no one seems to have figured out a rock solid way to fix it. And the game programmers don't seem to give a crap.
