I agree, we'll see how it fares in the long run. These "persistent" MMO shooters are starting to get a lot more traction lately, I wonder if Mass Effect helped this trend

That made me lol. I don't necesarily mean the gameplay itself is a "revolution" but just the concept of doing a game like this alongside a matching tv show. It's pretty cool.
