LotRO had minimal magic, at least when I played (beta). Even the most magical class in the game only threw what could be called little molotovs.
And SWTOR has magic, so it's not like fantasy = magic, scifi = no magic.
If you're not sure what you'll see yourself doing (small group or solo combat, fleet combat, trading, mining, manufacturing etc) then I'd recommend balancing your starting stats, with Charisma perhaps being a bit lower than the other 4 stats.
