Have you tried updating your graphics and sound drivers? Worth a shot. Sometimes that's all it takes. There may have been something in that patch to conflict with your current ones. Hope it helps.

Would be interesting to see an MMO or even just an online co-op game made from the board game Shadows of Brimstone. It's a Western theme dungeon crawl with horror mixed in.
