Unfortunately for hoarders like me most MMORPGs make managing inventory and bag space part of their core gameplay loops.
Yet, some games are worse than others and of course these days several games offer a "solution" in their cas…

We have a real clash between classic and modern with posters here, I don't think either is the best way to make a MMORPG. There are many ways you can take a hybrid approach, from having no corpse runs to having no loot boxes.

Let's say your daily limit is $3,000, if you win 10% and quit, you made $300. Do that every day and you're making $100,000 a year.
That's a nice way to end up in an unmarked grave in the Nevada desert - or you could become one o…

I’ve been to a few regular casinos, and it’s always the same story—win a little, lose it back, and call it a night. At least it’s fun while it lasts, and you get the buzz of playing.

The way people play these days, with the goal of finishing a game as soon as possible, it appears the developers have chosen a market driven approach.
Make a shallow game with some grind.
Sell the grind solution in the store.
Watch people blow thro…
I could spend thousands of dollars on gaming each year.
In 2025 the gaming industry will be lucky to get $50.00 in total from me.
I can wait until they grow up.
This is absolutely true.
I had someone offering the developers advice over at Fractured Online, got into a bit of a tangle with her on Discord. The player wanted a guaranteed track of success for some rare drops to speed up the process and mak…

I like the procedurally generated hell concept! That would be pretty cool (well or hot, actually).

The reason you have such a prevalence of random ganking in most open world games is because there is little penalty. The attacker always has the advantage as they pick the time, place and target.
How about, …
