I'm not sure what screenshots you're looking at, but the most recent screenshots from the official website are a good indication of what to expect. http://www.warhammeronline.com/screenshots/index.php Nothing to worry about here imo.

My Vanguard account also says "Pending" for it's status, but it's subscribed through 1/20/08. From the sounds of these posts, it looks like they have screwed up some of the accounts. I'd contact them to clarify.

My account is also active. I just logged in and started downloading the patches. Looks like it will be 2-3 hours from a dvd install.
