Although I ove this game, I understand your points. I don't agree with the addictable bit because you must admit, most mmorpgs are. So, this is the deal, I don't play on many other mmorpg's, so if you describe to me how it is fun to level up skills …

If you didn't notice, every week there are 1 or more updates. Thus improving the game. Since it is ever improving, should it not get better and better and better? Also, the better rpgs aren't Java, therefore companies won't want runescape.

With only 2 million members (to date), this was about 100,000 6 years ago. One of the cheapest memberships in MMORPGS at only $5 (£3.20) a month, that's not enough compared to mmorpgs such as Everquest or World of Warcraft.
