It's super-obscure, but Demise: Rise of the Ku'Tan might be worth looking into. On the surface it seems pretty shallow but underneath it all is a layer of great complexity not unlike Diablo.

Shadowbane is supposed to have faction PvP pretty similar to DAoC, so I'd suggest giving it a try.

I'd wait for the future updates to come back, they actually look like they might breathe some life back into the game.

The hell are you talking about? Asian programmers are some of the best in the world. When you see the credits for your favorite console RPG, about 90% of the names you see will be asian.

Personally, I don't find it very annoying. I mean, save for a few like RYL, most MMORPGs make you click to target anyways, so why get annoyed about clicking to move?

The graphics look pretty good when the settings are high, but they aren't amazing or anything.
