I tried the 14 day trial of CoX, played both Heroes and Villans and loved it, stupid thing I did was buy it for $30 at the plaync site, at Frys.com its at $19.99. check other sites you might get it cheaper.

my advice to you is to start on a less populated server and on the hero side, people are more willing to team and help each other on the hero side than villain, and look for some info about the archtypes and powers http://cityofheroes.gameamp.com is…

you'll only see City of Heroes, but when you log into the game and choose make a character you can choose between making a hero or a villan.

I like the mercenary dark combo, though I made the stupid mistake of making a merc/ poision one.

I belive there are 14 day trials for both games, so try them without buying them and then choose which one you like best.
