The "no-level" aspect of that game is very interesting and refreshing. Also, I like the fact that you can't reroll because you don't need to. Insta class change is neat.
Properly upgraded graphics in City of Heroes, not this... thing.
DAOC would be a good second choice: graphics AND IU.
And of course, Anarchy Online... one day... maybe... sure...
Good read, good list.
I'd really enjoy a rejuvenated DAOC, with better graphics and UI ; that would definitely make me a player.

Wat other games could have been on that list?
Tabula Rasa was a disaster (open beta was ugly), Auto Assault was on the same tracks, and recently FFXIV was horrible.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
Edit : indeed I am : Vanguard and Dark and …
Voted EvE by default since Tyrannis is not that innovative... at least like other expansions used to be.
But Going Rogue in the list? You gotta be kidding...

The four rules of the Game Club:
Rule number One : never preorder.
Rule number Two : never life-sub.
Rule number Three : TRY the frakkin' game before buying it!
Rule number Four : all of the above.
Actually, Paragon Studio did just that. Make every power on each side available for everyone, hero or villain, a few months ago.
The real issues with CoH/CoV have been the same for a long time : repetitive content, lack of high level content and c…
