I think it would be hard to pull off. MMO's are usually geared towards the many(players) against the few (NPC's/raid bosses/encounters). So how would You turn that on it's head and give players the feeling of surviving against insurmountable odds?…

While there are a lot of battlefields i don't think it's "all" Battlefields. I've seen videos of people going into little outposts or bases... hopefully there will be actual cities, but we will see. And as for crafting i do hope it is implemented …
I've never been one to hate on sci-fi/fantasy hybrids since FFVII etc... but in this case I'm glad they changed it to a straight up SCI-FI. And the logos system seems to be a good way to get that Fantasy in there. I really can't wait for this game…
