Well technically not considered an MMORPG, by some sectors of the gaming community. I would recommend having a look at Guild Wars, it requires no subscription and it contains a thriving PvP section.

Also I downloaded the 14 day EU free trial for Lotro, but when I tried to extract the zipped file it says it is invalid or corrupted. Anyone know why this happens? Ah well looks like I'll have to buy it on CD
Yeh might be good to play for a while, but a lack of content is a put off and I get bored easily grinding for levels and just hack and slash killing to level up. But still I will probably have a look at it, so far I am more convinced by Lotro.

Yes, Lotro seems a viable option. Especially with the special offer currently on subscriptions. It also has PvE, PvP (As such) and Crafting. Overall looks a generally decent game, thank you for the suggestion.

I would probably like to see an Elder Scrolls Online, but to be honest Oblivion wasn't up to scratch. I believe Morrowind was superior. If it was developed properly a suggested game such as this (Elder Scrolls Online) could have great potential.
