To the people with the money to blow in this manner, it is worth however much they are spending to buy a PS3 on release date.
A lesser example... I drove to four different WalMarts/Targets on the co-release of the Revenge of the Sith DVD and Star Wars Battlefront II, when I could have waited about a week. I was willing to be a little inconvenienced to have the copies in my hands on release day
Then agian if your rich and makes a ton of money why would you care if it was to expensive. Sometimes conveince is worth more then money. Its only sad when your going beyond your means lol. If you make a million bucks a day whats it matter?

If i earn a million bucks a day I wouldn't pay $5000 for a PS3. I would pay whatever the MSRP is. Now that's the difference between being really rich and being stupid.
I rolled through wally world today to check out the PS3 as I had some time to kill and they were making all the doods waiting for the PS3 stand out in the freezing cold in the middle of the parking lot. Pretty sad felt sorry for them lol.

What greater tribute to free will than the power to question the highest of authority? What greater display of loyalty than blind faith? What greater gift than free will? What greater love than loyalty?

Good.
Anyone stupid or lazy enough to pay so much over the odds deserves to be ripped off.
I hope the buyer is happy with being proved a prat and I know the seller will be happy to profit from a fool.
