Cuz many wow players are noobs and dont know what is mmorpg they just play wow cuz they think its the only game out there...... and why many players should rate an items farming game so high. the game is full with kids and the game is so easy and end game sucks graphics look like a comic book. and wow has 6000000+ beginers in mmorpg and kids. why should wow be first in mmorpg and the game is all about item farming lvl 1 to 59 item farming lvl 60 is also items farming pvp system suckkkss no capturing place or fighting for places that u rule or to capture.

To elaborate on the quest grind:

You do the same types of quests from lvl 1-60. Over and over and over. It may not be instanced like CoX, but the CoX series has the saving grace of one of the most in-depth character customizations and a ton of material and animated emotes with which to RP.

Imagine that RPing in a roleplaying game... that NEVER happens.

Sure they throw in a few odd quests, but for the most part it's kill x, find y, bring back x amount of poisoned bear turds. I've read a few reviews and editorials that laud this as WoW's strength. I think it's one of the biggest weaknesses, aside from the horendous end-game. I don't wanna do generic quests that lead me around by the nose.

I remember SWG's quest back in the day. You had to read what was said and then go about doing whatever. The quests didn't reward exp, other than the exp gain along the way, they yielded items, equipment, furniture. Some of the quests were good, fun, and engaging, but they sure as hell didn't lead you around by the nose and then dump you off conveniently in front of the next quest giver. You really had to search around for the right NPCs to get good quests from. People actually needed help with stuff.

I'm not a fan of forced grouping, but the solo ability of WoW is too much. You can solo from lvl 1-60. Granted you won't get any instance loot or group dynamics exp. It's insane. There's no RPing elements in the game, I don't even know why they have RP and RPPvP servers, the character customization is painfully sparse, there's not that many classes, no upcoming new classes, BGs get old quick, the community is horrible, and the worst part is...

there's not even any new stuff on the horizon for the expansion. Dreanei and BE will just be reskinned warriors, mages, ect. Outland will have the same boring, hold-you-by-the-hand and baby sit you quests, but ... /dramatic intake of breath... you'll be in a different setting.

I will say this though, I like the upcoming changes to PvP, the addition of Arena competitions, ladders, brackets, ect. I like the changes to the way Honor is gain and used. If they add more than 2 or 3 BGs and the maps are balanced (unlike AV) PvP could really be alot of fun. Only time will tell.

Hmm... I played the game from the day it was released (before that, if you count beta), and did so for about a year. Yes, the game was fun, when I was able to group with my friends, but because I don't have the time to Raid all the time, or play for all hours of the day and night, I did end up falling behind. I made 60, but at that point, what is there to do? You can Raid for 4+ hours at a shot, and still not probably get any items, until you have done these Raids several dozen times. This is why, for me, why I don't play the game anymore. I just have too much in my life (Family, work, ect) to spend that much time playing anymore. God, getting old sucks!

HAHA, funny you said that, seems when I played Guild Wars after I quit Wow, which is number 2 on mmo's ratings, has awful amounts of small children  that play it... The best thing about WoW is all of the "roleplaying realms" has the stupid annoyence children spam fest cut down by at the least 60% from the other normal/pvp realms, I couldnt get away from any of it on GW.  The biggest thing against it, is infact the comic book graphics I agree with you their.  Item farming is stupid to complain about, a million ways around it and it takes place in the majority of mmos.  The pvp system is 1 of the best kinds of seen implicated into a game,  using world pvp base, but cutting the annoyence of players fighting everywhere by using queues for "battlegrounds" which ever since they added it to the game has became the base for pvp.  But just by the context of what you said, I doubt you got anywhere in WoW and cried and quit. Please, state an intelligent opinion on a game, Its not the matter of you saying it sucks, its just you dont have anything to support it.  Please attempt to at least get end game in any game you play before posting about it.

Excellent post thank you for following up. As you know I did enjoy the quests but I had a friend that hated them all. And yes, CoX had excellent role playing, character customization, and good combat system. It has a lot of glaring faults in my book however what you say is true...

edit- And yeah the PvP updates looks good
