Worried about pvp in this game.

Flying lab have spent 5 years developing this product, and over the years ive seen many changes that were made for very good reasons. I believe without a doubt that this 'instancing' (Which is about as loose of a term as 'mmorpg') in this game will be done in a way that will be best for everyone. From what ive seen and heard, it really shouldnt be called instancing, perhaps a better name would be 'zoomzone' (zz?), 'battlevortex', 'shipsphere' or something else.

Yup!  I've been trying to convince people to call the combat system in PotBS COMBAT CLOUDS for a good bit now.  Combat Cloud is probably the best simple description of how combat works in PotBS, much much much better than 'instance' which is associated with Arena combat like in Guild Wars or WoW battlegrounds.

The Realm Online is like one of the first graphic-based mmorpgs, with cartoony graphics, and it has the cartoonish combat clouds.  I wish I could find a screen of it

i sure hope so, the closer this game is to the way EvE does things the better

  You cant steal kills if thats what you mean. 



You can assist other players by joining their combat cloud, but you have to have their consent to do so.
