Why pay money on games? How will they seriously help you in real life?Sure some are just for fun, but when you pay like $15 just for a bunch of pixels - go outside, watch tv - go to the mall. or play a free mmorpg!
To all those people that said stuff like " bad decision" or " not a smart move" I didn't post this asking people if I made the right decision or not, I posted it to say IM QUITTING THIS WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!! GOODBYE WoW NERDS, HAVE A NICE TIME IN AZEROTH!
Welp, after about 2 months of played I have decided to quit playing WoW. It's not because I think it's a crappy game or anything like that, but because it wasn't all that fun to me. Mabye some day I will find an mmorpg for me. Bye WoW community I wish you all best of luck!
I can't wait 'til other games come out and people start migrating away from WoW [Warhammer, age of conan, etc]. It will be interesting to see Blizz's reaction...hey, maybe they might actually make their game dynamic!
Yeah, but it will just be a matter of time before you're saying the same thing about AoC and Warhammer, etc. For me, if I like a game no matter what kind of game I can always come back to that game and play it again without any problems. I don't know how someone can play WoW and almost level two toons to 60 and leave the game in disgust never to come back again. Obviously the game was something to you that you spent the time to lvl two toons! I'll leave the game myself, certainly, but I won't leave it bemoaning it and telling others to migrate elsewhere.
Also, it is funny to see people's general reaction to a popular game such as WoW. For some reason people bemoan really popular games probably because they feel like a lemming or something for playing it. Well, my take on it is, if you've got a good sense of security about yourself you don't have to worry about what others think of you playing a popular game and thinking you're a lemming or a 12-year-old or something. Just do what you want to do regardless.
Clever, coffee. And you do have a very valid point with which I agree...WoW is, unfortunately, the best MMO available for purchase right now [Sorry, but I hate EVE]. But, there are many MUCH better MMOs coming out that will mop the floor with WoW's pubic hairs. Rejoice!
I was in the beta for burning crusade.
No.
It is nothing special. New zones, new races...same WoW.
why did you say thier is nothing special?? did you tried it already??
WoW does get stale after a while. I just sold my account since its basically just... there. bought new CDs and clothes with the money, LOL! I sold it at a site named "mmotrust", they were really great and very helpful.
I also recently quit WoW. To me it's the journey from 1-60 that is fun. Getting new cool spells, talents and abilities unlocked and feel your character progress is the very essence of WoW (for me that is), I enjoyed it a lot.
But once I reached 60 with my characters, I realized that I only had 2 in-game options left:
Say goodbye to my family and friends and start raiding like mad in feint hope of getting some epics.
Spend at least 10 hours every day in BGs for months to get HWL gear.
The decision was pretty easy - I left and didn't look back. The task was simply too big and would feel like a second job.
Now I play EQ2 instead. I have to be honest and admit, that I absolutely HATE the graphical style in EQ2 (looks like clay and plastic to me, with this "hard to describe plain and dirty look" about it), but the journey from 1-70 is much longer and there's much more to explore and keep you interested. It overall feels like a bigger adventure, and will keep me satisfied till Warhammer and STO are released.
