No other mmorpg can beat this, i find it a shame that all the talent is on blizzards side when it comes to artwork. Everyother company just makes it bland...

WoW is fun game to play but when it comes to appearance ....It is just not good enough....the armor in Lineage2 is way much better than WoW....sorry but I have to say that .....those armor  are no where close to Lineage2 armor



look  at these armor in Lineage2, they are more detail and more realistic,. WoW on the other hand is just  like cartoon

Yep Lineage armour looks great in the style Lineage is made, but the WoW armor looks good in the style WoW is made, wether you call it a cartoon or what ever.



Probably not the best topic as the only game where you can compare WoW armour to another is probably WAR as they are made in similar gfx style.

They all look like transformers and power rangers. Or like some Lego models. Kinda "childish" design with very little attention to detail.

LOL this thread is hilarious, I got a good laugh out of it.  WoW armor good? LOL I think this kid is blind.  No matter the difference in art style, any person worth his salt can see right off the HUGE difference between armor models in WoW versus Lineage 2.  Lineage 2 armors is >> WoW armor.  Its painfully obvious.  Please don't even compare he two..its like comparing rags (WoW armor) to a tux (Lineage 2 armor).

 I play WOW currently, but its Lineage 2 by a mile no matter what type of graphics your talking about. Of course it really doesnt matter since everyone looks the same in Lineage 2  though.

Actually no, its not so bad now.  With the amount of hair/head accessories they put into the game, people can start to really customize their characters look.  They are also adding new armors and weapons every chornicle. 

Besides, Lineage 2 is a MASSIVE PvP game.  There can literally be thousands of players at one time sieging a castle and definitely hundreds.  The character models of each character has been limited to increase server performance.  Can you imagine playing with 1000+ players and how slow it could get on your PC if each and every one of those people looked different?  ughh..talk about SEVERE laggggggggg...

The armor in WoW looks good, but it's the only high-end raid armors that look good. And yet, even some high end armors look bad too.

Well I dont know about you...if you said that Lineage2 shouldnt be compared to WoW because they arent made in similar gfx style. But for me good graphics mean that there should be some level of detail and realism to it. I had my aunty one day and she happens to be in my room and I was there sitting in front of my computer playing  LIneage2 with my Lvl 60 Hawkeye and suddenly , she just  looked at the game I was playinng and said to me that the character looks so real  and detail. Can you imagine that? My aunty is not a gamer like me so she knows nothing about if this or that is made with similar gfx style or whatever you call it. All I am saying that if a normal people who never played mmo said that the graphics looks great then it should be taken into account, I have several friends also who dont play mmo but they have seen some of the screenies from games such as WoW, L2 and so on and they honestly said that Lineage2 graphics is so good. I just said this in relation to WoW vs Lineage2, maybe there are other mmo games out there that I havent looked at which has better graphic than L2....and if it does well I honestly want to see it, because the thing is L2 is pretty much an old game and it  has been around for about 2 years ( it was released at 2004 if I am not mistaken...and WoW  was released around 2005 )... Forgive me if I have said something that may offend you, I just tried to be more specific in my argument..

So tell what makes each of those armor so unique? They all look the same except a few changed details like shoulders etc, and a different texture. If you like the graphic style in Wow is up to you, but you can't denie that there is variety and that the different set's do not similar to each other, at all. Most other mmo seem to have the same base armor model, and then they just add a different texture to it. Asian mmo's specially, they are terrible in terms of this. Seriously, if you prefer a Asian mmo over a western one in terms of armor, your certainly not looking for something unique for your character.

dude what I was showing you in my post  earlier are just some of the armors of Lineage2, if you want to see it more go to www.lineage2.com and see all the armors by your self ...okay I know partially what you've just said is true but  I still think that WoW graphic especially  their armor model is not good enough,  I used to play WoW in draenor server and I have lvl 43 Paladin sitting there as I was  bored with WoW at that time



I dont know about you....it is just me ....as  I said, I like the detail and the realism in L2 armor and this game has been around for a while and still I havent seen any other mmo graphics even the newer ones that could match  L2 graphics , especially their armor and weapons.



bytheway I only said L2 is better than WoW only in terms of the graphics.....the other I wouldnt say L2 is better, there are some downside still in L2 like the bots, the grind etc etc....

Regardless, to call the linked armors from WoW awful, you are either a rabid WoW hater, or have no taste. Some of it is over the top exotic yes, but the artwork is amazing none-the-less.

Even though I play WOW I would have to take issue with it.  While the Drawings and renderings look good (on paper as your illistration shows ) they do not look good in game due to the low poly count that WOW uses for its characters. The level of detail is simply lost.  And on the another  note it gets rather boring to see no class diversity with the armor schemes. It's the same ole same. Art work is art work. And what it is... Isn't
