Once upon a time i was in The temple of three winds (AO), we where going after Lien the memory stalker to get a few rolls for memory crystals. My group faught well and hard on our way to Lien, we where moving towards the final corner before lien and a person in the group goes link dead, confident as we were we decide not to wait for our friend since we will let him roll for the crystal if one did drop. We finally face Lien and he seemed to dislike me and the other mp, maybe cuz we heal with our pets. Finally Lien is put to an end, he falls down dead we are victouris. How fortunate of us our main looter says he got a crystal, everyone gets happy since we all get a shot at the roll. We where just setting up the roll numbers and our lding friend just get back, he asks for an invite and he gets it. We continue with rolling preperations and SUDDENLY chat displays <friend> has looted a memory crystal, and its nodrop. He says oops didnt SEE it was nodrop. Everyone in party get upset, party disbands since we cant go on farming crystals with a ninja in party.
I dont know if it really was his intention to loot it or not but i do know the fact that he did loot it. This is my story, true ninja or not, i still got very upset.

Why do people ninja loot? because they can.
The problem isn't stealing, the problem is when you can't deal justice to them. In Open PvP games you seldom have problems with thief.
If you can't police yourself you'll have problems like this.

Make no mistake, MMORPG's are not games, they are hobbies. If you have a job, you'll need to give up watching TV in order to play one. You'll be better off for it.

Developers need to get rid of the no drop property period. It is a stupid concept.
