in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

WOW is that chocolate chip cookie on your way out the door,

VG is that steak and potato you have to sit down for.

WOW is a bowl of ice cream,

VG is a bucket of KFC.

WOW is a piece of white cake,

VG is a large bowl of beef stew.

 

When your finished with WoW,

You ask, now where can I get soemthing to eat.

When your finished with VG,

You just think, WOW...

    I anticipatd VG, waited for it for long time.

    When i was disapointed with it , after trying open beta. I restarted my very old WoW account (1.5 year inactive)

    And now i am having a blast. It is more shallow than most MMOs , but it is also more fun than most.



    And on the end of the day, when i come shattered from my work. I rather have fun

    lol @ vanbois.  I love how this game and people that play it draw all this attention good as well as bad.

    Ok, so when I've finished my steak, I reach for ice cream and a cookie.

    When i tire of Vanguard, I should go to WoW for fun?

    I think you chose a bad comparasion.

    It's proven that kids today are eating less healthy and relying on junk food.  Thus the reason why some kids prefer WoW over VG.

    why are you even here..you dont like vanguard so i find it pretty sad your posting about a game you dislike.

    One of the problems I am seeing pop up in game and guild chat already in your "full meal" game is the subject of boredom. And it seems to be getting said more and more.

    I myself have dropped my playtime by over half already, and am finding it less and less compelling to log onto VG rather than EQ2.

    This game, despite the promises - is boring. It is a grindfest. I have not yet done any quests - what I have done though is 133 "kill-a-rat" missions.

    The much touted scenery is all the same - repeated for miles. What is there looks great, but it is all the same hills, grass, rocks, mountains. Nothing new, interesting, or innovative.

    lol thundercougerfalconbird i loved that futurama episode, Ok back to yer post, i hear about people running into stuff like bugs in vanguard, idk man i have not hit any yet except when i got stuck 1 time and i did an unstick and it was all settled, and now that my 2 gigs of ram and new vid card has been installed it is sooo much better, the lag is cut down, i had an issue of disapearing mobs while fighting b4 but with the new card nothing seems to disappear anymore

    why are you even here..you dont like vanguard so i find it pretty sad your posting about a game you dislike.

     

     

    Don''t recall saying I didn't like the game. My coment was more on the fact that it is an unfinished product. I hope in time it will be worth it for me to invest in. But I decided eons ago that I would only subscribe to games that will grow after launch, not incomplete ones.

    VG may be a steak, but it has a lot of gristle on it that I have a hard time chewing, let alone swallowing. And I thought the whole point of VG was to never be finished with it. That game is for gluttons with a strong constitution.

    and i just wanted to comment on if someone sais well if you like said games so much why are you here posting and not playing...idiots i have my other computer at a 90 degree angle from this one and i swivel like captain picard at the controls between the two,

    What the hell is wrong with you people? WHEN DID WE START COMPARING GAMES TO FOOD? Vanguard and WoW are both GREAT games. You people really need to stop posting pointless forums about how one game is better, or the other game isn't. No one really cares if it lived up to your expectations either. You know Rattrap nobody here really cares that you reactivated your WoW account. Why is it that every time I see a post about how good this game or is or how crappy it is, I see your posts in it? Would you please just stop posting here and learn to move on?  Both of these games are great and you all should just shut up and move on (like Rattrap).

    I'm having a blast reading all the extreme posts on this forum. I have no intention of getting VG at this point, but wow, some of the people from both sides of the issue are entertaining as all get go.



    I wonder how much they're paying the OP to make such assinine posts? Or, he *could* actually be a VG hater and made the post just to stir up the other haters who will then be blasted in turn by the trrue Vanbois ...



    Funny stuff though. I almost don't want VG to go under and remove my best source of amusement.

    As an example for my previous reply: posts like this crack me up the most. It amazes me that people like you will take every opportunity to blast WoW, pretty much any time it's mentioned or even alluded to.



    WoW has something like 8 million subscribers. I'm no WoW fanboy; if something better comes along I'll jump the WoW ship like a drowning rat on speed. But VG does not appear to be even remotely close to something I'd jump ship for.

    I think a car analogy is more appropriate.  Vanguard is like a beautiful Jaguar.  It is beautiful but always in the shop.  When it runs you have the time of your life.  However, you can't drive it because it is always broken.  WoW is like a Toyota.  it is not the best, not the most pretty but it is always reliable and does the job.
