WOW, Was a good game when it started but due to being so simple in play, anyone with 1/5 a brain can play it which unfortunately brings alot of moronic people to the game. (Flame away if you like, but its true!)
Disliked: A definite tie between 9 Dragons and Eve Online. I beta tested the former but what I tested was an import so for all purposes it was complete and what they offered was a lot of neat features that were obscured by the blandness in implementation. Eve was a blast at first but I simply can't stand the skill system. The most fundamentally flawed mechanic in my gaming existence. They even offered a free trial after their latest upgrade and I simply couldn't take them on that offer because the skill system is broken.
Just pure fun for me and that first run thru of lvl 1-60 was pretty magical since there were still a fair amount of ppl who didn't know everything about everything in the begining of the game.
Eve Online
After a looooong run in WoW tried out Eve because of all the raves at this site. Was SO different was a nice change of place. Then after playing the trial out was pretty unsure about buying it. Eventually needed SOME game so bought it and was having a so-so time until I joined an AWESOME corp/alliance, and that's where I had the most fun in the game. Brilliant time. BUT, I dunno - didn't hold my interest for very long. Got to where I didn't wanna login because I pretty much knew what to expect. Was a good 6 months or however long I played.
Worst:
If Guild Wars is considered an MMORPG then that's my least favorite. At least the free mmorpgs i've tried from this site that were garbage were free. Can't ever get that 40 bucks back I spent on Nightfall.
Two favorite: Eve, best pvp going.... Wow, best community... Worst MMO ever played: Vanguard.... I don't think a year would be enough to fix all it's problems.
Likes: Guild Wars, Entropia Universe (every now and then) (though WoW was second place on first char up to lvl 60) Dislikes: WoW (what it turned into) tie with DAoC (same reason). Sorry can't decide, I've grown to hate them both as much.
Vanguard as to me it is the reincarnation of Old EQ
Worst MMO World of Warcraft to simple, to low effort big reward for me
I guess i am some what of a masochist I like a game that makes you work hard for your reward. This is my opinion all the bitchin in the world you are about to do will not change MY opinion.
Likes:World of Warcraft (retired.. the young community and the game's repitition finally wore me down but the 1 year experience i had i will never forget)
Everquest1 (long since retired, but it got me started on MMO's and I had a blast, even though the game is terrible today..when it was the MMO monopoly..you really couldn't beat it) lol
Dislikes: Lineage 2 (For lunch i'll have awesome graphics, hold the terrible pathing and lack of control, and throw on a side of 1 billion bots to clog my arteries..I swear..it seemed there were more bots than players) And for god's sake meld all those dang dwarven pc buy/sell shops into 1 auctioneer so i can actually move in Giran City without tripping over 100 midgets named ioudnfvuiodvn. I tried so hard to get into it too...just wasn't happenin for me.
Most Unliked: Matrix Online - it could have been great...
Dishonorable mention: WoW - only game in history where the graphics were so bad, they gave me a migraine. The gameplay was fun though, even if they were super easy mode.
"Granted thinking for yourself could be considered a timesink of shorter or longer duration depending on how smart..or how dumb you are."
Graphics arent everything... yet if they gave a migrane thats not good lol
but a hard core RPG gamer knows that its all about the gameplay and the community... Think about in the 80's when guys sat in there basement playing DnD... Where were the graphics then... I was too young for that but hey check this out...
When I was locked up, I created my own RPG game in my cell during those long lock down hours... I molded bread into dice, poked holes, and let them harden next to my heater... I made hundreds of mathematical equations for fighting, skills, everything... I created races, classes, weapons, armor, monsters, even drew out a huge world, and huge dungeons...
I still have notebooks FULL of the info.. I tell u playing my RPG with a couple buddys (even guys who had never played an RPG in ther life) it made me feel like I wasnt even locked up...

Hate: SWG: The NGE lobotomy.
I find it funny that as many people hated certain games it wasn't their worst. =P
Liked : FFXI and LotR:O (Honorable mention for WoW, because it is a good game.)
Disliked : Lineage 2
Ociffer I swear to drunk I'm not god
FFXI-(Asura - Airram, Valefor - Zyten)
WoW-(Retired)
LotR:O-(Brandywine - Zyten)
Worst/hated= Guild wars, Vanguard, WWII Online, EvE.
Cal
Hate = (I so want to say WoW here, but I have played worse) City of Heroes
Like; UO (Before the insurance -_-;;) , Guild Wars
Dislike; WoW
1. EverQuest 2 Excellent questing and crafting..economy seems fairly stable, (comparitively speaking)
2. World of Warcraft the world's greatest MMO, hands down people, and mostly like why so many in this particular set of forums hate
it so much...kinda like hating the New York Yankees.. good quests, economy is one that can be controlled by the gamer
3. GuildWars .. Stunning graphics...ok questing..basically good if you like RPG style MMO...NO CRAFTING
Worst MMO's
Frankly, any MMO that makes claims it cannot live up to.
Vapoware MMO's.
MMo's that have not been tested thouroughly.
Grind-fest MMO's with dead-end economies forcing players to purchase online gaming money.
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth

DAoC (loved it right from the moment when i set foot on the beach of Connla for the first time)
COH (short love)
Anarchy Online
Guild Wars
EVE (kinda liked it - but PVE is getting boring after a while)
Dislike(d):
Dark and Light (BS!)
Vanguard (Laggy, buggy, started on a crossroad...dwarfs are looking like fat, stupid 10yr old)
Horizons (wow! crafting...)
Asherons Call 2 (nice graphics but the rest...)
Archlord (well that's a special piece of crap!)
Planetside (what do i do? where to go? <dead>)
Everquest 2 (nice graphics but looks like %"§& - characters does not fit into the world and wearing wigs)
SWG (kinda liked it, but it is just stupid for a Star Wars Fan - the Sandcrawler from Episode IV, is right outside Mos Eisley!! that's bad designed)
Auto Assault (what's the point making a driving game, when steering just sucks)
Everquest1 (long since retired, but it got me started on MMO's and I had a blast, even though the game is terrible today..when it was the MMO monopoly..you really couldn't beat it) lol
