So me and 3 of my other friends went into Burger king for a quick bite to eat when we saw this fat guy who was around our age and his parents sitting their eating. We were all laughing at him and what not and when we had our backs towards him we were making piggy noises and such and we can see him getting upset it was hilarious.
After that i came home and now i feel bad.

Screw'em.
I bet he checks out a fat people scooter at the store when he goes shopping too. He deserves it. I would have jiggled his tits when I walked out. But that's how I do things.
Yeah, I'm a sicko.

Hey, that was you and your friends........oh man, now I know who I owe the payback too.......
Maybe the next time (if there is ever a next time) you see him, you should apologize. He probably gets it a lot (since peers tend to be cruel to people that don't look/act/think the same as them), and would love it if someone was kind enough to approach him and apologize. If you don't ever see him, just try to act nice to those who appear different on the outside, k? A lot of people have diseases that cause obesity (like Thyroid problems in women, and medications that end up making people put on weight, or a binge problem), and insulting them doesn't help.
Remember, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I doubt if you were in his shoes, it would make you feel good to be snorted at.
I look down on people that eat in fast food places skinny or fat if they have a car, but the reason you should feel bad is because of how lame you acted. Sure it was mean, but it was also very very lame. Seriously dude, wait until you guys leave then you can make fun of him. The piggy stuff is also a few decades too old. Whenever me and my friend spot a fat person worth noticing we usually end up discussing it rather than making fun of him/her.
But in the end, you were just very very lame.
They came from the sea and they came from the sky, Captain America is going to die!
I don't like fat ppl and have no sympathy for them. :-| I don't make fun of them, but still. All they have to do to be an almost normal weight is walk a mile a day. They don't have to diet, they don't have to exercise, they can just walk and they won't go over 250lbs. Don't give me the BS that they have glandular issues or what not, because America is the fattest country in the world. That's just an out.
I have a buddy who was 350lbs 2yrs ago. He started walking.... then he started running.... then he REALLY started running. Ate whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.... he's 5'5" and weighs 160lbs now.
A Work in Progress.

There are a ton of medications that people take that cause weight gain as a side effect. Medicines for everything from migraines to Crohn's disease can cause tremendous weight gain. And the alternative to not taking many of these medications is being sick, in pain constantly, or disabled.
You never know what the situation is with someone else, so I would just count myself lucky to not have to experience what they are having to go through. Choosing to say you don't like someone because they are fat is setting yourself up for a huge case of looking like an ass someday for judging someone you do not understand.
Side thought popped up, I wonder if this coward would of said that stuff if he was alone.
Probally not.
As for the weight gain from other means, yep. I know of many medications that cause atleast 10 pounds of weight gain (AVE), and many are such things with a high dosage of HCI.
I find people who judge based on weight to be the same types of folks who deserve a furnace bath.
I always had large friends, myself being a whopping 155 never got the fat comments, but when they did...hoo boy, alley way baseball bat session, yeah we hurt alot of douche bags those days...ahh childhood.

Sorry to dig that up on you, but it just really stuck in my head that someone could ever write such a thing.

Hey I think i've read things like that before.
From the back of a small ford, or trailor park sign!

Was I bashing liberals again?
You did well. Peer pressure is the best way to get him to stop stuffing his face. You will be helping him live longer and be happier by assigning shame to his obese behavior since it will urge him to diet and excercise.
His parents obviously don't care and should be sterilized.
Yeah, my girlfriend is a Navy nutritionist. Most common medical reason is obesity. Fatty fatness needs to diet and exercise, as is all cures to the fat problems in America. No matter what the "problem" is, the cure ALWAYS involves a diet.
Wow, ever since the 90's, there's an excuse for EVERYTHING. Fat, Crime, highschool dropouts, etc.
Diets = yay.
I'm on one right now. Lost about 15 lbs so far. But, sometimes you just can't do that, y'know? I almost got off this diet a few weeks ago when my mother's health got worse. I'm still really stressed, but losing weight has kept me motivated to keep away from sweets (most of the time. My diet actually allows me to have ice cream and chocolate and sour skittles!), and junk food.
But honestly, this thread isn't about diets, or being overweight. Someone doesn't want to accept someone different, and makes fun of them to cover up their feelings. You have to consider that the other person is a human, just like you, and have feelings, just like you. You know how it feels to be insulted. The person you make fun of probably has to put up with it more than you do.
Its hard to get made fun of (I'd know, it still happens to me). Its really hard to hold your head up high and keep walking when someone taunts you every day, regardless of who you're with, or what you're doing.
I'm glad you feel bad, VallenRo. You deserve it.
When I was in the fifth grade I got made fun of for being fat...then I changed my eating habits and started taking tae kwon do...by the time I was in the 8th grade I was 6'2'' and 165 pounds...I was a skinny little bastard, and got made fun of for THAT (the phrase, "tall lanky piece of shit" comes to mind)
Then I started lifitng weights in high school and nobody has made a comment about my body size other than "stop lifting weights you look like you're on steroids" and that's good for my ego anyway so I encourage that.
Anyway, what you did was wrong, we all know that...I doubt you'll have a chance to apologize to him directly, but if you do, you should...an apology can go a long way. Yes, in all likelyhood, it's not because of genes or medicine that he is overweight, and his weight probably is mostly caused by his poor eating habits and sedentary lifestyle...BUT it's not your place to riticule him, and you obviously know that, seeing as how you had a "ahh man I feel like crap" moment afterwards.
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
