At the very least it offers something a bit diffrent than we have seen before in mmo's. Enough with the medieval settings and combat.

Im not really a fan of the series and normally i would just over look it altogether but all the same, things have gotten so played out now that ANYTHING that doesn't involve Orcs fighting elves and such with the cliche' axe, sword, and bow settup merit atleasts a chance to me, no matter how rediculous it might seem on the surface.
I agree that MMO's have hit a point where a change is DEFINITELY merited, but.........BUT......come on.   I mean DBZ?  there are so many more MMO's that you can be looking at as alternatives to the same old same old; Aion, Age of Conan, Fallen Earth, The Chronicles of Spellborn.  I know that TCoS is the whole cliche axe, sword, and bow setup but it changes so much and adds a whole lot to the battle system so it is worth a looksy AT THE VERY LEAST over DBZ.

I agree with you there.  There's plenty out there that's going to be great.  Much better than a DBZ online.  But I'm looking forward to it just for the novelty of it.  TCoS sounds great, as does Darkfall (I expect that one to be released around the time Duke Nukem Forever comes out ).

Yeah isn't that a real macho?
Regardless, the best PvP game ever made will be playable online against other opponents around the world with the release of Diamond and Pearl. So deal with it, your fantasy war shit is done.

The fantasy wars which we live day to day in our modern mmo community will never end but man people can grow out of dragon ball z very very fast this game will be a wreck on wheels or should i say nimbus cloud?

Sounds good. What the genre needs is more fast paced MMORPG's imo. DBZ is known for its fast action battles. Would be worth checking it out...and also because I'm a sucker for Cell shaded games,

=0 Looks at the UI and how it is all set out.

Remind you of the WoW interface much?

Wow they did not even try to mask it, they copied WoW straight off.

Loved DBZ back in the day, when I was like 12... 19 now ^_^. I will be playing purely to recapture my inner child once more.

I'm expecting heavy grinding, grinding, some more grinding with a touch of extremely bad translations but its DBZ so who cares.

Will conquer WoW.....you heard it here first!

That's pretty much the standard MMO UI though.  If you look at EQ2 it looks like that (except to see your row of bags u have to open your character's sheet)  But WoW pretty much took EQ2's UI and dragged the bags down to the "Attack" bar.

Not that I'm trying to defend DBZ in any way shape or form.  I think this game is going to tank.  It's just that's not really a valid complaint.

Hah. Thank you. I figured someone would have to say it.

Also, as to a DBZ MMO? Meh. I'll probably look at it. I'm a big fan of Akira Toriyami's art, at the very least.

Pokemon MMO has some potential as an idea. I mean... come on, collect, PvE and PvP, all perfectly balanced because it works through third-party critters? Brilliant!
