Lol you guys are blowing this out of perportion... im not saying raiding isnt fun.. im saying that PERSONALLY Grinding isnt whats fun to me.. its what get form it... like items and levels... and FOR ME the funnest way to use these items ive worked hard for is pure PVP.. not using my new found items and experience to start a new grind..rinse and repeat. I understand i may have offended you guys by consuming your 4.5 seconds to post "DO MORE RESARCH! THERES PVP!" but what i am trying to highlight is the fact that pvp seems TO ME to be put on the back burner, where as I prefer a more forfront aproach to it. The purpose of the post was to try and get some insight into your guys reasons to play since it obviously isnt for pvp. Instead you all have resorted to childish flaming in an attempt to defend the game.. in which i never was attacking.. just questioning
Well, Fensus, I guess it just goes to show you that many more people than you thought don't put as much emphasis on the kind of PvP you enjoy as a requirement to be a good game. LOTRO is solid, polished, has depth as far as story and is...fun.

Uh, this is my first post as a member here so it might be a lil shifty.... (Who Cares!) I, this is just my opinion, if you want PvP that you actually need to show skill and strategy, play a MMOFPS or something. I think. Sometimes the gear matters but what only matters is who has better coordination than the other. Because remember, in MMOFPS's, if you don't get the first shot at close range, you're probably going to get your ass kicked... Bad.

You do realize with open beta starting on Friday and the launch just a few weeks away, LOTRO is going to bring as many trolls over from other forums as possible. They don't like when games other than their own favorites draw too much attention. You know.. it's that famous "mine is better and bigger than yours" syndrome.
