When I first started playing MUDs, I had a few 20+ hour sessions, of course that was with a 2400 baud modem, so most of my time was spent waiting for the text to catch up.
Then came EQ1, which I played like a fiend, spent many full weekends raiding PoF, farming loot for our whole guild. PoH, and that annoying Plane of wonky animals... Tunare? Doing the poison dragon was my favorite tho, since I was a monk and in charge of not whiping the party!
Recently I have been playing DDO, and have done several 16+ hour binges on that. Although everything in DDO can be done in about 4 hours, raid-wise. But playing DDO trippin on LSD in Deleras Tomb was probably the best gaming experiance Ive ever had, I was so immersed in the game, with the swirly shadows and heat blur effects... clickclickclickityclick... I may have developed carpole tunnel syndrome from DDO!
Other games I have played for hours: Counter-Strike at a LAN party, played pretty much 2 days stright. Final Fantasy Tactics, Y's, King's Field I and II.... Ive spent well over half my life staring at some video game, from Atari, Sega Master System, NES, Turbo Graphix 16, Genesis, SNES, Saturn, N64... Ive played everything.
Half my life Ive played games, the other half I just wasted.
About 30 hours same spot same group DAOC we had 6 folks hit 50 about the same time, and many rushes of overspan fins and Orrie the giant. Last time ever did that now most sessions no longer then 2 hours
So who here won for the longest session of 1 sitting?

My wife now has five days off work, so if she doesnt put in at least a 100 hour session she will be very unhappy. I should have bought her hard drugs instead of WoW at christmas. If i deleteted her character i would be a dead man.
But if i remember correctly.. my longest gaming session with about two hours of sleep at large, regular intervals (about every 20 hours. Aka- Gamer naps) was probably around 4 or so days.. so give or take 100 or so hours.
I think after that i slept for about a day! lol

About 18 hours on SWG, before it became the POS that it is today.
HALO, 36 hours straight with a partner.
HALO 2, 23 hours straight with a partner.
EQ2, 8 hours. (I know, I know, noob!)
