Most common comeback WoW players have when people post bad opinions about their game

0k210k21 Member Posts: 866
Okay, seeing as how it's April fools and I wanted a laugh, I'm putting up a poll to decide what is the most common comeback you've seen a WoW player (or fanboi if you will) after someone posts a 'bad' opinion about their game. If you pick "Other" maybe you could describe the post below? I'm interested to see how this will turn out hehe.

Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.

I said otehr because hell, most reasons peopel dont like WoW is because of the claim to addiction, and my comeback is:

THERE IS NO FREAKING ADDICTION, JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK YOUR LIFE DOESNT MATTER AND WOW IS YOUR LIFE DOESNT MEAN ITS AN ADDICTION, IT MEANS YOUR RETARDED AND NEED A REAL LIFE.

Yes thats the harsh reality, they think they can claim its addicting because so many people play it so much so they can convince them selves in an addiction and not their own damn fault, jeez.

    WoW addict.

I just say don't be mad that your WoWed out and now you regret you spent your whole life raiding, and then a expansion came out and now your no longer the most powerful person. Lmao. I like wow, no where near a fan boy. Its a good game, right now eve and this has me. Until AoC comes out of course.

    Darkfall for now.

Quit bashing games YOU don't like! Including WoW, you know you liked it before you got burned out.

this is my comeback, game sucks, always will, currently i play his account on his offtime to simply help my brother level his toon, though i loathe the game and he knows it, why they continue to play i cant fathom, other than the time invested.

8 mill subscribers, simple bull.  the french company vivendi will never release the real single player subs verse the subs with multiple accounts. simple fact.

reason fopr folks to play a game they hate? easy, time invested and the wait for something better to come along, like the wife you want to divorce, but stay with because of the kids (love that comparison)

    warhammer.......think warhammer.

can you smell that?!!...............there is nothing quite like it.....................the smell of troll in the morning............i love that smell.

    wow sucks, lol.

It's funny, when people say 8.5million people play WoW, I bet over half those people don't play that much. I bet some of those 8.5million people only play for status because of their friends. I bet some of those 8.5million people only play WoW because they are addicted.

If WoW users would freakin open up their minds, they'd realize that there are tons of better MMORPGs. What I find ridiculous is that some people say the graphics are "state-of-the-art" or "awesome", know what other MMORPGs that also have very great graphics? A LOT.  People seriously need to get off the WoW crap, there are tons of MMOs that are hell of a lot better. Most of it is that Blizzard is just a very awesome company that came out with great games like Starcraft, etc. And now with all the good publicity, money, and power gives them the situation to make a game that can amaze people. Some people make free MMORPGs that can compete with WoW, and they run on advertising, donations, etc.  But sadly, since people realize that WoW is so successful, a lot of MMO developers try to mimic WoW since it's successful, but they end up failing, creating the value of MMOs even lower. Then with =almost= all MMOs comes grinding, annoying time wasting, hunting. So all-in-all, WoW sucks.

How many times do i say it there is no addiction its only in the person's mind there is no such thing as "WoW addiction" iit's all psychological and just because you play the game a lot doesnt mean your addicted, it means you love the game, everyone has different opinions but like some people say, "If you dont have anything good to say, SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE!"

    WoW addict.

Please name MMOs that are better... I do need something till AoC or Warhammer

People say this and that is better... But WoW did do a lot right... Maybe most of the haters are people that dont like things that are popular just so they can be considered diffrent and unique lol. But because you don't like it anymore doesn't mean it sucks now.

Please... do not mention FF11, CoH/V, Guild wars(That is not a MMO for the last time).

Acceptable answers: Eve, Daoc, Everquest(s), and anything other....

I will reply and try to see your PoV in a unbiased light

I am one of the WoW fans see its not the holy grai of MMO... but dammit its a fun game!

    Darkfall for now.

I find the comeback of WoW haters much more entertaining.

"Oh yeah? Well all those 8,5 million people are total noobs who never played another mmorpg! (despite the fact that many MMORPG's lost a lot of subscribers after the release of WoW)!

All those 8,5 million subscribers are wrong.

All those hundred proffesional reviewers are wrong as well.

And I'm right, WoW is bad".
  • I think is because most WoW players are starting to being bored of World of Warcraft. However then can´t figure out what other MORPG they will replace it with because of the following reason.

1: WoW is the first so called real MMORPG they tried

2: They cant figure out what resample something like WoW

3: They are simple not enough hardcore

8.5 million people playing is a great come-back, if we're maintaining the same level of reasoning that most WoW haters employ :p

LMAO at this poster, Dude you really have an issue with WoW..........

"open up their minds" you should take your own advice and move on

"there are tons...a lot better" that would be a personal perspective you obviousely have your own issue with WoW

"So all-in-all, WoW sucks" that's your opinion you are entitled to that LMAO again...

EVERYONE is free to play whatever MMORPG they wnat to including yourself so move on and have fun and stop seething about something YOU can't change....

    Have fun

definition of addiction:  to devote or apply habitually or compulsively.

    WoW addiction DOES exist.
  • An online life also give people a chance to just escape, to be with a group of people you do not normal interact with. It is amazingly refreshing.

    Or not

hehe, well I did try to give as many options as I could but I ran out, so I just put other one the last one, it's interesting really, even on this thread, the only thing most of the WoW players seem to say is the exact same things that this poll has placed, in fact I find it rather funny, it's why I decided to quit WoW in the first place, the community was just a bunch of idiots who'd never be able to post anything that a sane human could properly read. As for the raiding comment that people don't seem to understand what the thread is about, I spent most of my time levelling and roleplaying, the only things I regret in WoW is: Waisting my time levelling and trying out instances so I'd get used to them thinking that it would help me if I ever tried getting into a guild and also: Roleplaying constantly whenever I was in the city in the vain hope that my friends would take notice and start roleplaying too instead of raiding constantly to get their 'epix' it's sad really, I miss the roleplaying there, but it was just getting so pathetic that I didn't want to do it anymore, or bother trying to pester my friends who in the end, about half went and back stabbed me when others were flaming me for trying to get the roleplaying guilds talking to each other and roleplaying properly instead of being in just 'bubble' communities where they would ignore everyone else that wasn't a part of their group.

This isn't an april fools joke that's for sure, the faith I had in MMORPG's was actually pretty shattered when I got attacked like I did back when I was into WoW and I blame Blizzard all the more for not trying to put a stop to it properly, I miss the friends I had there (that actually liked me) and this is simply proving my point about how crappy the WoW community really is when you take a mere glance at it.

To those who say "Just go and play another MMORPG" without the l33t text of course, I AM and you know what? I may not have the roleplay I had back in WoW, but I'm a lot happier because I'm not getting attacked and slandered for having an opinion not to mention I find the game a hell of a lot more fun than WoW and it's less of a chore because I actually feel as if I can log off for a few seconds without needing to check something on the game a second after I have.

I'm sure WoW addiction does exist.  In the same way that chat-room addiction exists.  People must be responsible for their own actions and do things in moderation.

I don't mind if people discuss this type of thing, technically it's about how people are doing this lame and retarded flame in an effort to make them look cool type of posts, it's pathetic really and I wish it would stop, but i doubt it will unless a) the fanboi's has everyone agreeing with them and are on their side or b) The fanboi's actually give up on the game they love so much

The reason I think this way is because I have noticed that many of these posts are by the same players who just specifically target these kinds of threads for no reason, it's happened on the SWG Vet forums, I guess it's just a lot more obvious here because there are more fanboi's for World of Warcraft than there are SWG NGE.

what I find funny (more annoying) is how many people think their opinions are so much better than everyone else. it's a little bit like politics, where even protesters piss me off cause they're hypocritical, and most of them probably sniff crystal for breakfast. One person's opinion is a leaf falling on the ground. if you can't make a better point than just "it sucks", then nobody's going to take you seriously.

give a real reason why you don't like something. So many people who say bad things about a game are naive, don't know jack about the game industry or even what the game's developers meant to do. I say if you want to say something bad about a game, make something better first.  until then just save us and yourself the trouble of discreditting you.

    thank you

dont forget all the kiddies can run it on their crappy computer , that why i think alot of players play it simple enough.
