MXO is pretty much the same as it was since launch..   Some ppl tend to belive what they hear from other ppl without any experience in what they talk about. I would still like to hear how SOE suposedly messed up EQ,  yet no one can say anything more than how much they hate SOE with there herd mentality.

Sigil messed this game up by not getting their jobs done on time.  Inefficiency and wasting funds and time over little things and not focusing on the core of the game.  They tried to achieve something too big and did not plan out their time and money well.  Which is all on management.

SoE screwed it up by insisting it be released pre-maturely, and in doing so made "the Vision" pretty much impossible to achieve.

You would think in todays age of MMOs and especially with Sony's experience, that they would understand the worst possible thing you can do is release a halfassed unfinished product with little to no high level/raid content.

It really speaks volumes to SOE's horrible business strategy/philosophy.  They wouldn't wait and fund more developement when they had to have known the state the game was in.  So they decided to cut their losses and just try to make as much money back as possible on box sales.

That is shortchanging the future.  Instead of possibly having one of the greatest games ever (and yes, I do think Vanguard could have been a 1 million + subscriber base game)  they gave up on it.  Not only that, but decieved all those suckers who actually bought the game thinking it was going to be what any normal person would expect.  A finished game.  So Sony really dropped the ball.  I think everyone involved in this travesty should be sacked.

Now SOE is going to spend the money to save this game to little or no positivie effect.  When they shouldve used that money to continue developement before launch to release a finished product with the high end raid content and the complete story line established.  Such a shame.  How do these idiots end up in charge of a huge company like that and still keep their jobs after such horrible decisions?

I mean we are talking about tens of millions of dollars...  When you make that kind of investment you go all the way with it.
