Wasn't there supposed to be an mmo for the 360 that got cancelled? What was it? Endless...saga...true fantasy...it was something like that. Can someone help me out here?
True Fantasy Live Online and it was for the Xbox and needed to get the axe.
Looks like a cool side game. Why did it get cancelled?

Check out "XNA", I believe it to be the future of game development. Microsoft definetly had their thinking cap on with this one. You can create games on your PC using the C# programming language and the XNA software development kit (SDK). You can then port them to the XBOX 360 directly, no altering of the code. The current package came out in December and a pro kit is to be released this year. I've been learning C# with Visual C# express and XNA (Both FREE downloads from microsoft)...yes I said free. I am absolutely amazed at the capabilities of this package. Check out the links and videos below, they explain it better than I can. It is pretty new, as time progresses I'm sure we will see MMO games coming out using XNA for both windows and the 360. I've been playing around with this. It's not as complicated as DirectX though it's still takes a lot of time and effort to learn. The tools aren't visual. You have to used the xna classes to make the game. The nice part is they already have the game loop setup for you and tell you where to put the code. They also have a tutorial in the help on setting up a simple 2D game as well as giving you a free game that you can use as a basis for your games. I don't have an xbox360 yet, but I plan to get one just becuase of this.

Exactly, MMOs fall under the Silver (free) membership. Gold is for XBL gaming and marketplace.
So you do not have to pay an additional fee if you have Xbox Live?
So sweet.
Boycott EA Games. RIP Sim City.
