The only bashing thats going on here is towards crafting and if you play wow you should know why we are bashing the crafting and pvp system.
No one has said anything bad about raiding in wow because the game excels at that (even though there are those that say it is repetitive but thats mainly the hardcore raiders who have years in the aspect of the game), and I really dont know what you'd be able to do in one hour in WoW because the only thing you may manage to accomplish is say hi to your friends, smelt some ore or mabye pick a stack of ice cap. I guess you could check the AH or something

For about a year in WoW I was one of 2 Crafters who could make Everything Dark Iron and the famous Sulfuron Hammer. I was WELL KNOWN!!! haha everyone came to me or the other guy when it came to blacksmithing even for sharp stones. That was earned tho back when you had to farm your BUTT off to become that...although I wish it was harder then it was at first. Later they made crafters so numerous and easy to become I lost the fame and working towards being a awesome crafter was worthless because so many could do it easy.
They should make being a crafter ALOT harder to be and actually make it skillful in someway instead of just rep farming.
so you were one of the first of the crafters that could craft those items, and the inevitable happened and people caught up. = the game is flawed
guess im confused as to how they "made crafters so numerous and easy to become" as opposed to farming your butt off in the beginning
No, I was the one who figured everything out when the game first came out and found where to get the "secret recipes" from the venders. Now the current WoW all the plans are out in the open and its all just rep grinds....which is retarded cause that means casual players can just grind rep and get awesome plans which make them not so awesome....I was a pioneer not to sound to high and mighty but I was...they killed the Have to go to BRM and defeat bosses/get keys/FUN way to get plans and turn in rep and complete quest. They changed it to be more strem line and boring...that is what im saying.
All you casuals out there now can do everything except for a few High end dungeon items....which is what killed blacksmithing IMO.
I started playing WoW because I'm a huge fan of Blizzard games, especially the Warcraft series. I praise Blizzard for a lot of things and to be honest they've come a long way since its release.
After taking a break from the game, I returned to try playing on a RP-PvP server with the Burning Crusade release. To be honest I had a lot more fun playing there than with my other character, truly engaging the story and environment (and I'm not even hard up on role playing!), but have already quit again. Its hard to look at WoW after playing many other MMO's with such admiral quality.
Also to be honest, I think its safe to say there's a lot there that we all like but there's also a significant amount of material that we don't.
After playing WoW my expectations for MMO's are very high and I don't see anything forthcoming capable of hindering its success for quite some time. WAR, AoC, and a few others are venturing on the horizon and it won't be long until we get a fresh new wave to surf.
