And you missed the point completely. The point wasn't to make fun of WAR (which I do not, I use WAR as a comparison because for some reason people think that WAR has spilled all the beans and they most certainly haven't,) it was to say that just because you haven't seen certain things in a MMOG before launch, doesn't mean they don't exist. Of COURSE WAR will have elves. But it's just as much a pointless rant to say that they must not be there because Mythic hasn't shown them as saying PvP in AoC isn't there because Funcom hasn't shown it. Pointless. No where do I bash WAR in this thread, at all. I use it simply in frame of reference and to make a point. So get off your horse and stop flying off the handle any time WAR in mentioned in the AoC forums. You don't see AoC fans in the WAR forums flaming and accusing nearly as much. Hell you'll notice almost every single post on the main page of this forum is an inflammatory 'AoC is in trouble/gonna suck/AoC fans are noobs' bullshit post from a WAR fanboi. WTF is that all about?

Ok pick any of the other classes then. There's just as much info on any class they've released a description for. That was just the latest. They only added footage with one of the classes. The Bear summoning video.
I was under the impression that you're comment was putting down WAR in order to make AoC seem not so bad. I just thought I'd point out that your argument was completely innacurate and you picked a bad example to point out.
I could take your inflammatory posts in the WAR forums alone and it would probably equal the amount of WAR fanbois over here spouting inflammatory stuff. I'd be glad to provide examples.
If you look on Age of Conan's official forums there are just as many posts from people saying that AoC is in trouble. It's not the fanbois of other games that are worried about this game, it's the fans of AoC that think it's in trouble. I wouldn't gain a thing by putting down AoC. Fact is I'm a huge skeptic and I tend to speak out on my skepticism, but only about games that disappoint me or that I've been personally watching and am knowledgeable about.
I mean WAR has 300k signups just to beta. What would me putting down AoC do that WAR hasn't already done for itself?
I didn't mean to sound as if I was flying off the handle. I just thought I would point out why myself and tons of other people have been disappointed with the development of AoC thus far. Hopefully they'll relinquish everyone's fears about the PvP system at Leipzig and things will be alright. I just personally see countless flaws that have not been addressed, and if I point them out and you don't like it I apologize ahead of time.
EDIT: Fion you should look into playing a Warrior Priest in WAR. You remind me of them. Seriously you should look into it.

youtube or 6stage actually has plenty of UI images, however there been nothing really new new since the jan-march. It is pretty much the same area and the same stuff as we have seen in the past.
The game looked overall good in that video but the combat looks "a bit" boring. The real time combat system sounds good, but there wont be any special skills you get every few lvls like in other MMOs ? In that video they are just bashing, no special skills, nothing ? That would get boring very quick, IMO.

you need to research friend, ofcourse there are other skills, conqeurors and able to group buff, rangers can set traps, lich turn into an undead, herald of xoti turn into a demon, etc, the combat system , what you seem to be bored by is that there is no autoattack feature, whihc usually shows the same attack over and over again while the person is jousting or strafing in a circle while hitting whateer skills light back up, on www.ageofconan.com there are sections of each class for the most part, or you can go check one of the fansites.

there are also some leaked beta footage 2 or 3 vids, and also wait for the german gaming convention, dragoncon, etc im sure more vids will be released
