I bought MLB 2007, and FFXII. Getting irritated at FFXII, I have to go to settings and change the screen type to full screen everytime I start the game up, or else it wont format to the screen size leaving the black borders. Also, It appears FMV's run outside screen size regardless. They need to work on the PS2 emulation.
So far thats my only complaint other than the massive size of the console, and the "i love fingerprints and dust" glossy finish. I like the touch sensitive eject and power, and the thing dosent really sound that loud, my Xbox 360 could be heard from the next room over, not to mention over the TV/sound, I cant hear this thing at all while im playing a game.
A few questions though, while browsing I saw something called Remote Play for the PSP, what does this do? Im to lazy to read the manual.

Remote play is the PSP - PS3 functionality that is kind of pushing me to buy one..
If you have a PSP you can access your PS3 from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Play some games (not all currently support PSP play but there are some) watch movies, browse the PSN store... its really neat actually
Where it comes in really handy .. is when some new data is released on the PSN store and you're not at home just remote to your ps3 ... and start the download of games/demos/patches.. and when you get home you can jump right into the game you downloaded.

i got psp and ps2 i dont like ps3 that much pc for gaming but psp good when having shit lol ps2 well my little sis has it now no more intrest wating for aoc and apb
future of gaming is pc and 720 lol 360x2 hehe will be good but i hate bill gate he has so much money and forgetting his childhood why he first love this technology money blinds all but me

i have an xbox360 and had a PS3 since launch but after this years e3 i sold the PS3 nothing from e3 that was playstation related interested me, and i needed some money and sold it because i hardly ever played the damn thing compared to my xbox. Some days i would decide to play a console i would look a them both and turn on the xbox. With my PC and my xbox i am set. I hope you have a better time than i did with your ps3 and it sounds like you wil.

You're able to download playstation games from the Playstation store and play them on your psp.
My PS3 is collecting dust under my bed as I write this. Waste of money.
that's exactly how i felt, but i even tried to justify buying it and made myself play it more and realized it's about the games and decided to sell my ps3 and keep my xbox 360

I'm in the same boat.
I bought a xbox 360 and thought it was great for 6mths, then boom, 3ROD.
And they wanted me to pay 140usd. So i tried the xclamp mods, and they all worked fine
for a while, then boom again, 3ROD. Then microsoft offered the 3yr warranty for 3ROD. So,
I felt stupid and all, but i tried.
Now with pc gaming lackluster, Im thinking aboout a PS3 also, they have a nice design.
and no 3ROD. Decent games are coming out for all the consoles that im looking forward too.
Assassins Creed, Force Unleashed, ect ect.
