Let me list you all the bad points i know about these that concern me from the previews:
AoC: Might prove bugged and with many flaws and spoils (eg Bunny-hopping during combat etc. ) Lag might be an issue and has big reqs. Might be great, innovative and fun!!!! but i am not pre suscribing for it. A "memorable" experiance, just like Vanguard is what i fear. Seems like a balanced PvP - PvE game (certainly less PvP based than WAR where i hear many WoW player are planning to go i dont have WoW so its just second hand info.
TR: Combat will be fun but might prove very singleplayer instead of MMO. Mostly because SFgames are not so popular (idk why i played Anarchy for a looong time.....) and because the game doesnt look like in the slightest forcing you to team. Might prove just as Multiplayer as GW Nightfall. This is a big point but!! else game seems good.
Hellgate: A MMOG not RPG but guarteed quality and few good hours of gameplay but i doubt A LOT it will be something to keep you busy for more than a month (if even that).

"AoC: Might prove bugged and with many flaws and spoils (eg Bunny-hopping during combat etc. )"
Bunny hopping won't be an issue considering that jumping drains your stamina...You'd be a fool to use your stamina up on jumping whne it could be better used on a combo.
Hellgate: London isn't even an MMOG. It's more like Quake, but with persistant elements. Gonna rock though.
Tabula Rasa: Very cool, but perhaps the most shallow and repetative gameplay I've ever seen.
Age of Conan: Extraordinarily deep, with hundreds of hours of content, real time combat, full blown 100% PvP with sieges, player cities, etc. Is there really any competition? Maybe for those on a budget's 'gaming dolor' But beyond that, nope.
Oh, and OP: AoC's end game is not even CLOSE to being like WoWs. There is raiding, but raid gear doesn't mean squat in PvP, crafted gear does. And the end game PvP is all about entering the 100% open PvP areas, building a massive battle keep with your guild, and destroying your enemies (or your rivals.) Not WoW-like at all. That said, their raid/interior tech is far beyond any other MMOG's in terms of graphical and technical capability. So for those that like raids, they should be vast and beautiful in AoC.
AOC character models look sooo horrible i can't even stand to look at the screenshots : They just look sooo bland and plastic and not fitting into the rest of the world. It's like how can the world look sooo nice and yet they get the characters models sooo wrong?

Yeah they have talked a good game so far, but I am almost positive the game is going to Flop. Out of those three the most commercially successful one will be Hellgate.
Currently playing: LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)
Looking Foward too: Bioware games (Dragon Age & Star Wars The Old Republic)
im pretty sure its RPG. you customize your toon using a nice, sharp interface. Then as you play the game and kill demons you find gear and gradually improve. I remember begging the flagship programmer to unlock some extra content for me so I could tryout more powers. felt like Diablo taken to 3D.
they have an indepth atmosphere going for this already. if you can, try to score the comic book. they're trying to build a brand new IP here. they have the balls to take some chances here and there. I was also under the impression you'd at least meet together in town. I remember meeting up wit ppl in town and then we'd go running off into hell together with our guns and swords
was a lot of fun..... and man now the videos look even better. I should've gotten the programmer i talked to business cardf so i could get into beta
bah looking at their site I freakin missied them at san diego comic con. how is it I missed all the MMO booths while i was there. only MMO I saw upclose was burning crusade <puke>
edit- oh okay they were not demoing the game at comic con. now I remember seeing the booth where they just showed the trailers and signed some stuff
And as to character models. They are extremely well done IMHO. All accept the eyes.. ouch. Not sure WTF is up with them lol.
I have a feeling. Based on what I have seen, read, heard about the game. I think in the end it will be considered a Flop. It will do better then Vanguard, but might end up in the DDO range of 50-100K subscribers. Of course that is in my opinion.
Currently playing: LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)

I would just like to say for the record. After watching game play videos, and reading up on Hellgate London. Realizing it is Diablo on steroids and some elite Tour De France performance enhancers of the t-mobile group. ME WANTS. I cant believe i have looked over this game. Of course i have heard about it, just never read into it. Damn looks like AoC just got beat in my book. I'm sure this will tide me over until whenever Darkfall is released.
I myself are going to play Hellgate london for sure, because the era it is set is in hasnt been done before ( for what i know ) and it combat actually seems better than other mmorpgs, also that you can go first person will be awesome and will appeal to FPS players and i think that randomization of dungeons and that will make it playable over and over again while ur hunting demons with friends
I agree that Hellgate will probably be the most commercially successful. But I don't think AoC will flop by any stretch of the imagination.
Moostown, are your posts ever NOT negative, flamebating and trollworthy? Seriously, I don't think I've ever once seen you comment on anything positively. In fact, I'd almost wager you don't like MMOG games. FYI all those screenshots are taken from the game between 6 months and a year ago. Models have improved a tun, but I agree, they still need work. Not the models themselves, but the texture. Getting realistic skin is rather hard. It's probably why 3/4 of MMOG's have characters with purple skin anymore.
Because the online component will be of an MMO nature? Why else would we? Please at least research the game...
Really? fails the 'Massive' test of the MMO, and doesn't look like a persistant world. It's in the same vein as NWN is, and I don't even consider Guild Wars or DDO online to be true MMORPGS.
Well ofcorse TR is going to suck......... all ncsoft games do, that said though so do all Mythic games and Turbine games and SOE games lol.. TR though will probally be the new Auto Assault.
Maybe you should remove your lips from Blizzard's behind?

But, it tastes so sweet, like vanilla/strawberry icecream...
So, though it will be MMOG-like, it will not be a MMOG. The max players is 32, which is not MM by any sense, so it is more like a Diablo or NWN server setup. That is, of course, unless the online information is incorrect.
I "think" the 32 was from a quote from 2006.
May 22, 2006
1. Hellgate: London is an action-RPG with a fully developed singleplayer mode and multiple online modes. Our online modes vary, too. Some will be comparable to Diablo (your typical 2 to 32-player instanced experience or whatever), while another may include more MMO-like functionality and will thus be comparable to those sorts of games (Guild Wars and whatnot).
Also at about the same time they stated this.

7. Q. How many people can be around the stations at the same time?
A. The on-paper limit right now is a hundred or so. When more people try to enter a station, a duplicate of that station will be created and those people will be funneled into that duplicate. Of course, their groups will always be maintained, first and foremost. So, when a group of 10 tries to enter a station with 95 people in it, the whole group will be transferred to a duplicate of that station. This entire process will be completely transparent to the end user.
So according to this it be similar to guildwars as for as the hubs go.
So its still as much as a MMOG as guildwars is and guildwars is on this site. Then again I never considered GuidWars or D&D Online true MMOGs.

Read my post #19. It explains what Hellgate is about.
So no it isn't.
