Ok, so I have cleaned the house. Bought vidoe games for him and even bought him a computer to play his games. I just want a few intitmate moments with him?? any help or am I lost to the games??

I don't know.... asking how to score "guys" as a guy in a gamer community.... not really the best place. Because scoring would require something a guy doesn't have... boobs!(unless he's obese.. which leads to several other issues... such as the thing dingling between his hairy fat legs... nvm :P)

My girl does the same things for me, and whenever she wants to do anything with me, she usually just asks. But when that works, she tends to just sit in my lap and not get up until I say I'll come with her.

Edit: What worked for me though was her mate coming over and she was younger and hotter so i just got with her instead.

if you are a girl and your dude isn't wanting to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing, make sure he knows he's a total pud and needs to check his priorities. if you're a dude with a wife and want your boyfriend to start messing around with him... my bets your boyfriend is actually not gay but enjoys all the benefits you're giving him, thus making him totally hilarious in my eyes. cut the benefits like that, you're in the friend zone. i hope it's the first case though... because i don't do well with dudes and dudes lol ehhhhh.

And lo, things became so very awkward. Not big on intimacy, so I can't really give any tips.

Essentially you have these choices with a man.
Football, Video games, pubs.
All men will have at least one of these hobbies/vices, all girlfriends object to at least one of them. You either learn to lump it, or date girls.
During time spent in these pursuits you will have no chance of male/female intimacy. Instead you should make use of the opportunity to pursue things that you enjoy that he does not, if he goes to the pub, leave him there and go shopping. If he plays video games, (assuming you don't play them with him), use that time to catch up on the soaps, or watch romance movies. If he watches football, go out on the town for a girlie night.
Girls are not boys, boys are not girls, you do not have to do everything together, there are elements of our lives that require not intimacy but a respectful distance. Not everything is for sharing.
P.S. buying him video games and computers to play them on and then complaining when he does seems a little contrary.
If all else fails and you think you have completely lost 100% of his attention 100% of the time, use your secret weapon. French Stockings and Suspenders.

In that case, my advice changes to figure out what he's really into. I mean, he's gotta surf pr0n or have some on the computer somewhere, find that and go with it lol. If he plays MMOs all the time... well then I hate to say there's no hope for most people like that, at least ones that I know.
Besides being nosey and picking through his stuff, you could just set up the situation better. Set up a date and plan everything out so nothing else grabs his attention but you. No tv's/computers/blablabla around. Maybe like.. a vacation or something on a weekend where you stay at a hotel? That pretty much forces you together.
edit: oh and since he sounds a little weak in the confidence department (assuming he's attracted to you since he's with you and all), you would have to make the first move.

Hmm, have you tried outright seducing him? You know, like someone said, wear something scandelous, stalk into the room and demand sex with a pouting face. Still, if he's consistently choosing videogames over you, there's a problem, whether he's too into the games or he's just taking you for granted. If none of these ideas work I'd definately start looking for some kind of marriage councillor.
Walk into the room bare ass naked and sit on his lap, and fondly stroke his joystick.. maybe shoot a few bad guys.
