AION Hype Going down? ( Edited: NOT ANYMORE! :D )
Cant believe all the random ppl that dont know SH!T about aion, and Vote low for the hype meter,
And most of them state the False things that we have argued over and over again,
such as " Great.. another grind fest" , or " Asian mmorpg? Grind fest...." or " NCsoft? eyecandy, not actually good gameplay"......
BUGS ME soooo bad, well, if you havent hyped aion yet , then u shud,... GIVE IT A 10 lol

Those people are the game racists! Hating on any and every asian mmo without knowing anything about them. What can you do?
Asian MMos are the best- its western MMos that suck- Aion will change the world!!!

You guys realize that most of us don't care enough to bother rating any game's hype meter, much less willing to take the time to give Aion a low hype rating....

The thing is that AIon isn't hyper-Asian. It's got the looks, that's a given. But it's a mix between western/eastern. Take all the good stuff leave the rest be, you know?
Meh I guess ppl will regret it once they see Aion beat WoW in sales. XD
Even though I hate wow I doubt it. Might get up to like 4mil though.
Well, first of all I don't think Aion will beat wow in sales. It doesn't have to and quite frankly it is a different game. I wish players would realize that wow is something "very much" it's own.
The majority of WoW players are having a ball because they don't care about what a lot of "gamers" care about. They sign in, have some fun, sign off.
Aion will do well enough. I will definitely play it. However, I can see it being a niche game because of it's subject matter. it's a bit too esoteric for the average person. fine with me quite frankly. As long as it can garner a devoted player base, what do we care?

I for one am looking forward to the game. I don't really pay attention to what others are saying. They haven't played the game, what do they know? They're just basing their opinions on what they've read or heard from others - and since we all have different ideas of what a fun game is, I'll judge for myself!
I'm playing WOW now, but it's time for something else. I think I'll wait until Aion comes out and start playing it instead. I'll look forward to seeing you all online!!
id like to say that this game WILL be awesome if it can hav low latency servers and have very good tech support. imo this game should hav these as the game will most likly be p2p meaning they will hav more money to control and improve the gamers gameplay. the hype goin down makes this game even more attractive to dedicated gamers such as my self and many others here. the few ppl that dont play games often may also enjoy this game. when ppl start comparing games they usually pick WoW but as each game has a different genre and maker it is usually hard to compare MMOs. no matter what game you play there is always a certian time when grinding is nessacery. many asian MMOs are filled with quests and grinding. as i hav not yet played this game and do not no much about the quests ad such i can only guess this game will have a equal balance between the story line and the side quests. If any user here wishes to flame me then you can im not goin to say that im 100% correct
This game will be very good, grafics are like hotted up lineage 2 ( lineage 2 looks good, but the playability in it sucks) and controls like wow ( move with awsd keys which means more control over your char) and also got stealth and you dont need mount because you got wings. I rated this 10/10 on the hype because I know this will be a game on the top when its released.
Check the screens on it , but most of all check the videos .. the new ones.

Aion is the only MMO that I have some hope for. I don't think that it'll be the savior of MMOs or any other such nonsense, and I realize that there could be a great deal of dirt about the game that none of us are privy to.
That said, I'm more than willing to upgrade my PC for it. I'm just waiting to see if it'll be worth the time & money.

gee, I don't know. Everything I've read from the developers state that they are aware of the reputation of korean grinders and are making every attempt to "not" be a korean grinder.
On top of that they are spending quite a bit of effort on customization.

Hm,, I cant really say but ive heard some people say that aion's weapon are looking like wows.. But the characters look amazing. I just hope the game play is as good as i hoped it would be.

What makes graphics mature? Colors are for children, lets suck the fun out of this ewww wings, only kids like wings /nix these hair styles are too resemblent of Yu-Gi-Oh shaved heads are for adults. A team of adults came up with these amazing graphics, and dissing them with an excuse is not very nice
. Personally i enjoy grinding games anyway with a healthy community, but from the overview this does not seem like a grind fest, definitly something i'm anticipating.
Well all games have something from other games , no escaping that .. even wow "got" stuff from other games and so did every other games that is mmo out there (mostly).
Atleast you will see the difference between wow engine and the Farcry engine aka Crytec engine, the grafix will be like eyecandy.
I just hope the playablility will be good and that you got 100 % control of your charcters when playing. And lets hope its fun playing and not only grind game.
