When is this going to be relased?

in Darkfall

Hey all. I was just wanting to know if anyone knew a estimate of how much longer before the game comes out. I found it like last year sometime and it looked amazing. And I see it still isn't out. I'd really love to give it a try. So if you know anything like esitmated time or somthing let me know. Thanks.

    This depends upon when they seal the deal with a publisher or self-publish. If they do i would imagine sometime before the year is out.

    I know most are either delusional or being herded by propaganda but how about never.. this game will never see the light , maybe in 5 years as f2p when they have walked away from it ROFL.

     But on a more serious note i hope it does for all these people been waiting and watching for last few years they bloody deserve it .

    Its still in Alpha. So it wont be released for a long time.

    With no beta at all being done, and only 4 months left in this year, this is the most unrealistic post I've ever seen on these forums.

    Are you under the age of 30? If so, it might come out some time in *your* lifetime. 

    Expect this game some time in the year 2032, if the closed beta goes well.

    I think you have summed up questionable as a whole.

    My estimate... end of year 2008 or never. By that time the loan will be chewing up any resources they have left to develop the game.

    the Darkfall forums are a good place to ask this question although the haters might be justified in their doubts. DF is being made by a small team so it will take a lot longer then a mainstreamed MMO like WAR that has EA backing it

     I dunno if this game or when its coming out but the DF forums has a great community that is the *best* place to talk about PVP.

    And now a real, and honest answer to your question.

     

     

    There is no official release date, so everyone can at best just guess about it. However, their are a few indications, that it could be possible, that the closed beta will start anywhen this year.. and maybe a release next year.. but as i said before, no offical announcements, so just my personal guess.

    And dont expect a release this year.. i will be happy, if the beta will launch this year.

    Ahh, but I am basing this off of playing the game at Dragon Con along with the fact that I have really enjoyed both Anarchy Online and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. I have really enjoyed playing all three, and they have pushed the game back which gives them more time to make it better. You are only seeing things from one point of view rather than being open to others. FunCom's track record with ME is fantastic, which is why I look forward and if you got to play the game at the convention you would likely not have that opinion about Age of Conan. Also, the build we played at the convention is nowhere near the final build, if you listened to the developers you would have known that but after rereading your post I do not think you played the game at all.

    The develeopers said that they don't know when the beta will begin. So its not in BETA!  And if  its not in beta yet, then its still in Alpha. Your post makes no sense at all.

     

    And I would rather play Darkfall than AOC. But AOC will be releeaseed soon and Darkfall won't.

    Wrong. They dont make an estimate because its like predicting when the world is going to end. There are factors that you just can't control and making a prediction about it could be right on or way off.

    I didnt even bother to read through all the useless hater posts and all their silly excuses, but:

     

    This game will come out by at least Q2-3 of next year, expecting a beta around christmas... So its all good.

    there not close to completion, they pretty much stated that in their last devlog. Beta by christmas is also really unlikely. They dont even have servers, and by the looks of it, they dont plan to get any by christmas.

    I dont remember them saying that they werent close to completion. They did say they had an almost feature complete game up and running.

    i also dont remember them saying they were near completion, we can go back and forth all day. They are still finishing animations, if thery havent even finished the small stuff i doubt they finished the more complicated stuff
