I hate the buffing system in SWG. You have to craft a item, then use it for a buff. The item is then used up (this causes huge lines of people in a line waiting for a doctor to buff them). In AO you can cast the buff onto the person to add skills, you can cast it as much as you like until your run out of Nano Pool, then you just recharge your Nano. Interestingly I like SWG's buffing system for exactly the same reasons - you dont _always_ need to find the right class/level player to get buffed since you can just buy the item and use it yourself (I played an Eng in AO so I know all about having to find buffs....) In the end I would recommed AO if your are in it for the long run. If you just want to play for a month to have something to do, play SWG, thought I would rather just rent a Star Wars game from the video store. SWG is pleasing to the eyes, relaxing (duh, you have macroes running 24/7, why wouldn't it be :P). I played AO for a year, I've been playing SWG for over a year now and I cant see myself returning to Anarchy-mission-treamill-rare-spawn-camping-for-rare-item-drop-Online anytime soon. Ultimately if you need a game to spoon feed you something to do and you _think_ an online game is good for this (clue: its not) then sure go play AO, if you want a game that lets you play exactly how you want and forces you to do nothing if you dont want to play SWG

How long have you played AO? What was your highest level character in AO? When was the last time you played AO?
Let's see... it is your opinion which you have NOT backed up with anything substancial (like what exactly about each game you dislike).... vs the opinions of the 50,000+ players in AO who have voted with their wallets. And vs the 300.000+ players in SWG who have voted with their wallets.

How many times to I have to repeat myself? AO and SWG are MMORPGs. They are constantly changing. Unlike Stand Alone Games which remain the same. Someone who last played AO 2 years ago is in no position to comment on what AO is like right now. Someone who has played SWG 5 months ago is in no position to comment on what SWG is like right now. All their information, and experiences, would be outdated.

My settings for those screenshots of AO are 3/4 maximum. GeForce 4, with a Pent 4, and over 1 Gig memory. Settings turned up 75%. (Any higher and I risked crashing, especially when the army of dragons were in town. ) AO's graphics turned maximum are even better than what my screenshots show.
Hmmm for someone who claims to know sooo much about AO, how come you do not know that AO allows a player to create MORE THAN ONE character at the same time? The fact that you immediatly resort to name-calling, instead of thinking shows your true intentions. The fact you still will not answer how long you have played AO, when was the last time you played AO, and what your highest level character in AO, also shows your true intentions.
The character in my screenshots is the one I use to showcase the game to others. He is the one I risk every good player, bad player, spammer, begger, knowing his name. I use him to do game reviews on my MMORPG game fansite. BTW I re-rolled him twice. I originally made him during the first 3 months AO first came out. Played him 1 year solid past level 100, then re-rolled him to experience the new lower level game content. I've left him lower level because many of the dungeons will kick characters OUT if they go past a certian level.
Now, can you guess the levels of my other characters?
