There appears to be true evil behind Cryptic/NCsoft IMO. Its hidden in plain view. Encoded into the game for those who know what they are looking at, hence the name Cryptic no doubt. Questions I have discussed in-game with buds who agreed something was definately wrong after they noticed more than a few of them: 1)Why over every pwn shop is there a stylized 666? (in PI & IP) 2) why was i7 released on tuesday 6-6-06 (heavily bugged mind you) 3) after noticing #2, was i9's release May 1st 2007 (Intl communist Day and the 231 anniversary of the Bavarian Illuminati) a coincidence? 4) why is the symbol of so many villain groups an eye (CoT, Vampyri, Council, etc.) 5) why is every portal an eye ( The all seeing eye is one of the major symbols in theoccult. Like on the back of a dollar bill.) 6) why are there like 15 different versions of horns and only 1 version of wings for helms for heroes w/o cov 7) why is cov required to use sg bases in coh? 8) why are villains so much stronger than heroes in pvp? 9) why is there an ad for Red Beast (i.e. the devil)cola in SC? 10) why does every Wentworth's look like an eye from above? Look for yourself 11) Why are we heroes that kill our opponents under the euphemism "arrest" (something we do joke about occasionally) 12) why are there so many occult chest details including stylized 666s(3 swirl version) and inverted 5 point stars in heroes? 13) why do the hellions have the real occult symbol, the Goat of Mendes on their backs 14) why are witches hats one of the only quest clothing you can get? 15) why is Tabula Rasa's symbol a stylized 666 (again 3 6s swirled around)? 16) Why is there a chessboard in Peregrine Island referring to the plan of the occultists to rule the world? reference Zbiegniew Brzynski's the Grand Chessboard 17) why do the heroes costumes look like devils in so many cases? 18) why during every event do we work WITH the villains instead of fighting or competing against them? 19) why are the strongest scrapper/defenders dark based? 20) why is the symbol on every mutation SO an eye, and every natural SO  a dragon ( again i.e. the devil) Any one of these things, and there are more, might not be a big deal, but the summation of them indicates, IMO, this trend is not coincidental. Cryptic's symbol was a haunted house for years, and there founder's are outta England the same place that gave us media wonderkinds like Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stone all who had occult affiliation, but could this be the same old song with a new instrument? It seems to be incrementally getting people that play  accustomed to occult imagery and ideology of using dark power for so called "good". Oh and Cryptic isn't the only company out there doing this type of stuff. Like Knight Online with places like Luferson Castle, The abyss and hell. Hey just cuz you (and I) don't serve the occult doesn't mean that they don't. if I had ever played magic type heroes in coh, it would have thought it to be completely occult.

its hard to be creative and think of original ideas... well harder than using some one elses and molding it to your game for inspiration.

gods&heroes is based off greek mythology or something, so CoX could just be based off of occultism and they never said anything about it, but for someone like you that knows about it/plays the game you can see the occult inspired theme of the game.

You have a few interesting points.

 

Just for your information:

 

- Heroes always win in PvP, as villains are stronger individuals but weaker group members.  1 vs 1, a villain should wins.  8 vs 8, the good guys should wins, easily.

- Dark powers are good, but by no means the best.  Dark melee is arguably good for 1 vs 1, but dark armor is extremely weak except vs Psi attacks (extremely rare) and dark attacks.  1 vs 1, I am convinced that an energy/invul brute would eat alive any non-MM which are dark based (don't use a primary or a secondary that isn't dark to base your victory on, such as a storm defender would be good, regardless of his whatever else set).  For a MM, just pick either spines or electric attack and you will be okay.

 

That's been said, you have a few interesting points.  Having a few beside the track, or raving about some presidents of the US deaths doesn't invalidate your other points, yet you may want to reconsider your approach or you may just hurt your cause more then help it (see Chantale Paris at Tout le Monde en parle for a live example of hurting a good cause).

I am MMO retired until a MMO is good enought to bring me back...and that isn't going to be happening soon, raiding-enforcement, PvP-enforcement, go raze the enemy capital...whatever, I want to DREAM, and I want to dream at level 1.  I can't dream in WAR, in EQ2, or in most to release-shortly MMOs, they all crush my hope by a lack of commitment to groupers, and since I can't get my point to be understood, I will just play non-MMOs until the day of a grouping-MMO comes.  CoV is group-centered and very good...and in fact, I play it a LOT...I just...overplay it...I don't have any goal anymore...but the game was a blast, a real nice game!  Denying me my goal completely (EQ-WAR-Vanguard) is an awful mistake...but I do need a goal.  Unlimited levels where working...devs remove them for casuals, fine...but how do you intend to keep me grouping in your game (cause I won't raid or PvP when all I want is to group)?  I just need a goal, an objective, a purpose.  Reaching it is irrelevant (not for casuals), so maybe the "unlimited levels" although wrong in a pure form where not completely wrong?

Figured I'd redisplay your message in white so people can at least see what it is they're supposed to be ridiculing. The fact is in your ignorance of the way history, education and the world works you are unable to come to conclusions that don't come out of a textbook or a newspaper. Observations in the context of study. Mindlessly discounting the possibility is what these various groups hope you do. THAT is why public school is free. It teaches you how not to think. How not to question the official story. Tell me, when you were in school, did anyone ever question HOW the teacher knew the things he/she taught you? Maybe, but was it questioned as to its truth? Research methods and Critical thought are, for the most part, not taught or cultivated in our youth unless you went to a specialized or private school that did. I mean,does grading on whether a child can regurgitate "facts" an accurate assessment of intelligence? Isn't it true one of the characteristics people want attributed to themselves more than any is intelligence,  doesn't it then become easy to just accept what you hear and be considered smart than to question it and be considered stupid or crazy. Anofalye, I didn't write that Lincoln crap, that was the OP being facetious. What he was quoting from me appeared in dark blue (for some reason).

Also, based on the fact its been more than a week with no response from the OP, he has taken my little test and my point has been made. I just hope that everyone will open their eyes, seek truth and one day find it.

Isnt cryptic studios owned by the band ''The Residents''? If so this would explain all the weird crazy stuff, because the residents are kinda that way and they are one of my favorite bands, look up ''the residents'' on you tube or go too there website, they are a very mysterious band, no one knows who they are and the more you try too find out the weirder they get, they wear big eyeballs and tuxedos., they did make a pc game in the 90's or early 2000's called rough day on the midway, or tough day on the midway, if anyone likes weird stuff che4ck em out, they run cryptic records as well.

A) I can respect wanting to maintain the integrity of your original post, no problem, which is why I posted all further issues on the off-topic portion here in response to the OP for this thread, per your request.

 

 

using the videos on youtube is like using a common language or central location. Equal access. I don't know you and therefore my words hold little to no weight with you, so I put arguments out there and then examples or testimonials to build my case so to speak. it is also simply easier and practical to give you videos and websites you can look at at your leisure, where they are stored is circumstantial. As I said though, feel free to read the Grand Chessboard by Bryzinski.

 

C) Don't really think we're bickering per se.  You started a thread to ridicule my points, I simply responded from a perspective of providing precedent and info in the hopes of getting you, and whoever, to consider the possibility that you don't necessarily know what you don't know and its better to question things and research the issue than to discount it outright.

You're more than welcome to insult me for my perfectly rational and freely considered scepticism of your theory, but don't you think it'd be more constructive for your cause if you tried to explain how this giant-sized brainwashing scheme works?

If your comment was sincere, then my fault and my apologies. The symbols themselves are not hypnotic glyphs or anything, their sorta like markers. Statements of ownership, and generally placed on display for the purpose of reveling in our ignorance and at the same time desensitizing us to them. The point in me pointing out these things is to show a pattern that cannot be random and is therefore purposeful. The specific purpose is primarily known only to those that implemented them, but I have to question why the consistent occult tilt?... and now Issue 11 utilizes probably the most universal pagan symbol known, the ouroubos. I mean, the specific meaning of it is not too frightening, but its the fact that, again, introduction of real occult and pagan symbology. is this too a coincidence?

The issue of whats going on occultwise is technically secondary to its effects on us and its ultimate end, global governance. I guess you didn't look at my post above with the links regarding the North American Union, but essentially it is the absorption of the US into a continental superstate with Mexico and Canada  using a constitution devoid of guarantees of due process or individual rights.  A superstate where you do what your told or else. Did you know they have already done away with habeus corpus (your right to a speedy trial, right to face your accuser etc.) in America today? We are a giant cog in the machine of the ruling elite who unify their superstructure using these occult ideologies while throwing them in our faces.

Well here's the thing, I'm neither American nor Christian, and occult symbols have no more power, influence or significance for me than Christian symbols.  In fact, all of those symbols that are often given sinister meanings by conspiracy theorists also have many other meanings.  You can't desensitise someone to something they were never sensitive to in the first place.

 For example, when I load up CoH and play my Martial Arts/Super Reflexes Scrapper, when I look at his enhancements with the dragon on them I don't see a symbol of the devil, I see the Chinese dragon which is has all kinds of meanings both positive and negative, none of which have an effect on my day-to-day mindset.

The same goes for the Ouroboros symbol.  To you it's an occult symbol dripping with malevolent connotations, but to me it represent nothing more than infinity, the cyclic nature of, er, nature and the process of birth, death and rebirth that characterises almost all spiritual thinking throughout history and the world.  In that sense its meaning isn't so different to the Christian cross which, among other things, represents death and rebirth in the form of the Resurrection.

That was my original point; all those symbols that are routinely "exposed" by conspiracy theorists as having deep and sinister meanings have no such meanings to the rest of us.  At least not until conspiracy theorists point them out.  As a means of control, no matter how subtle, they are worthless and it's only the consipiracy theorist who gives them any significance to the rest of us or themselves.

Believe it or not I've read quite a bit about the Illuminati and the stuff that's often connected with them, and all of it has left me cold.  There are too many assumptions, too many leaps of faith and logic, too much misinformed history and not enough evidence that stands up to rational, critical scrutiny.  The very fact that there is so much media about that unmasks the great conspiracy helps disprove its existence.  Why would the architects of the New World Order allow so much information about its plans and methods be freely distributed over so many easily controllable channels?

Since you don't seem to be actually looking at any of the evidence I'm presenting, or bringing any specific evidence to counter anything I've presented and continue to refer to anyone citing the possibility of planning or collusion as a person dealing exclusively in theory it is clear you are more than happy to continue in your ideologies, which is your perogative, but please don't pretend they are grounded in evidence or rational thought, research or observation. Evidence for what?  All you have done is dump a load of links and quotes on me and told me to refute them instead of the points you made in the first place.  I have stayed perfectly on-topic and explained to you why symbols are useless as means of influencing people.  You have yet to come back to me on that and no, websites about 911 conspiracies really don't count.

Now, I'm focusing on the symbology because that's where you started this but also because symbology is often said to be one of the key methods of the great conspiracy.  From experience, there is absolutely no point in arguing against the "evidence" that "proves" the conspiracy because the theorist ALWAYS ends up saying something along the lines of "that's what they want you to believe!" as if that's all it takes to prove that sceptics are wrong.

Because of that I know it's pointless trying to reason with you on the big stuff so I'm sticking to the small, critical stuff, like symbology, which can be disproven thus showing that the consipiracy can't work or exist as you think it does.

That's why I asked why the Illuminati allow so much discourse about their plans when, supposedly, they have so much power and control over so much, to which you claimed that the internet is out of their control.  How can that be so?  Surely they'd have had the foresight to have a controlling interest in the single biggest advance in information disemination since the printing press?  China, Iran and Saudi-Arabia all manage to control exactly the type of content that their people can post and access on the internet.  Why can't the Illuminati with all their fingers in all those corporate pies?  How come they can't put the same sort of pressure on conspiracy theorists ISPs that the music industry managed to put on file sharers?

I have no interest in reading or refuting more "proof" about his conspiracy's existence, at least not while I can so easily poke holes in the supposed means and reach of their control.

My point is, and has been since the beginning A) why is there so much real occult imagery in the coh gameworld? not just fantasy rpg type stuff  if these things are meaningless, why do they occur and so often? and C) Though my observations seem to point to a very unlikely possibility based on the world we know, do we really know as much as we think we do about the world?

I specifically stated that the symbols themselves are not hypnotic, but they do incrementally introduce real (e.g. the goat of mendes symbol on the back of the hellions jackets) occult symbology in what many would consider a children's game. Occult symbology that if first seen later in life may repulse one, but after seeing it in cartoon form it has little aversive affect on its target audience and may even cause increased interest. Since the future projected global government's leadership will use a single currency and a single world church based on an all inclusive ideology to maintain order, it behooves them to attempt to break down  Christianity's influence which teaches that there is only 1 God and one way to heaven, Jesus Christ, and runs so counter to their plans. As I said in the previous portions of this argument, coh is not alone. Many many many of the amusements we spend our time participating in hold similar symbols (I discussed music earlier), but especially cartoons and children's games (e.g. Yu-Gi-Oh, Shaman King, Naruto, Avatar the Last Airbender, Inuyasha, W.I.T.C.H.,Full Metal Alchemist) that use demons as heros and glorify magic and occult ideologies. Since this is a country that was founded on the tenets of the bible, what is the origin and motive of the introduction en mass of these topics? Is this top down distribution of this ethos all coincidence? Or a Conspiricy debate?   In all honesty you can't just base all your findings on purely christian evidence or a bunch of random spouts of conspiracies.  The whole world is not Christian if it was the whole idea that God gave man Free will would be pretty much a LIE.   The truth lays within the history of the entire world not just christian history and definitly not just American history.

The only reason you sense or feel real evil coming out of a game comes from your own personal beliefs and not any sort of a facts.   Game Developers can't just make everyone play the good guys it'd be boring..You have to have something evil to fight against.   There are very few symbols that are universally personfied as evil and its those few that you'll see directly only for the bad guys in games.    In all honesty if you play video games how can you pick out the bad guys if they're all wearing sheeps clothing?

Secular humanism is in fact a religious ideology also. The belief there is no true religion and that man is the determiner of all things true is a major tenet of it. So in a way your post is a religious one in the sense that it is falls into this worldview. I would hope you would see things my way and repent, but I know its your choice to do. I'm not getting on a high horse, so to speak, by pointing these things out, I am however saying that if these various real occult images and ideologies are all present in the game, is it coincidence? After studying the beliefs and strategies of these various groups, which most people think don't even exist, I say not.

Not to go too into depth, if you don't think delving into these subjects has an effect, look at your amity towards them. You are so desensitized you read the satanic bible for laughs or whatever. That seems to illustrate part of my point, that these images desensitize their viewer to them and what they represent, whether you think bad is really bad or not is secondary.

Regarding the anime videos being from Japan and so forth, there were tv cartoons and movies in the 80s and 90s from Japan like Voltron, Robotech, Fist of the North Star,  Megazone 23 part 1&2, A-ko & B-ko, Warriors of the Wind etc.  but the most occult based ones shown here in the U.S. back then were like Vampire based or perhaps martial arts Ki based, but today the occult ones are steeped in egyptology (the basis of the Satanic Temple of Set) and real witchcraft symbology. These are the ones being picked out of the crowd of anime movies and being put to the forfront. Hey, anime has been around a long time and I've been watching it long before it was so readily available, but the stuff on Tv in the U.S. nowadays is definately different. Not knowing you are being indoctrinated doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Also I quit the game a while ago. Even while playing I routinely took a month or 2 break from it.
