    was off mmorpg.com for a while, have to say up to 50 hours for me (depending on school).  If i work at it on weekends enough and late at night like i want, 50 hours will come easy =)image

    Yes Tucaron you get your own room.  I'm not sure how many rooms there will be, but if there is enough than every founding member will be granted one.

    To the guy asked if he had to be a human, the answer is no, you can be whatever race or class you want, you just have to choose qeynos as your city.

    I think Imperium is a good name but also it is slightly common, I know warhammer 40k kids who have all sorts of imperium named things and i was thinking we could modify it or something like make it more everquestish or maybe latinize it like imperia and maybe add another latin word to describe the guild further. Imperia is the plural of imperium:
    1. Absolute rule; supreme power.
    2. A sphere of power or dominion; an empire.
    3. Law. The right or power of a state to enforce the law.

    so maybe we could think of another name like "Guardians of Imperium"(Curas de Imperium), the name is more magical to me,  or something else that involves Imperium just think of another word and i can translate it. i have just seen imperium by itself used on starcraft, warhammer, and other games as a name for clans/guilds-Just a thought/option to considerimage.

    What do ya think?

    You do make a valid point, i will consider other names, i need ideas, but it needs to be greco-roman theme.  I really do like the name Imperium.

    Sorry bobjones for writing that. I also respect u as a EQ2 fan and person with enough logic and intelegence to understand that EQ2 is the best game ever made. If you ever change ur mind of making a guild plz check out and fill an aplication in the guilds website. Id really like to be in a game with someone like u. image

    Very nice temp webpage! I like it. As for Curas de Imperium it is Latin for Guardians of Imperium. In my point of view I think Imperium alone:

    1. Absolute rule; supreme power.
    2. A sphere of power or dominion; an empire.
    3. Law. The right or power of a state to enforce the law.

    Just does not explain our purpose enough, i mean would Absolute Rule be a good name or definition of our guild? or would something like possesors, lords, upholders, bearers or protectors of that ^ definition be better? and with another word or adjective describing us we would become more original and move away from the apparent commonness of imperium by itself.

    Some of those words sound good in latin also tell me if you like any of them and want them translated.

    (Oh yeah BTW we are enclosing on the largest EQ2 thread on mmorpg, i found one with 236 called "about that guild" we should be there in a couple days and hold IMPERIUM over all other threads!)

    zcandyman - Do u speak latin?  I tried some english-latin translators, but they only give me single words, and won't translate phrases.  If you know what "Lords of the Imperium" is in latin, we might add that to the list.

    What bob and I observed in EqI was that one-word, roll off the tounge names seemed to succeed.

    For example - Legendary, Twisted, Defiance (according to Bob)

    That's why we like "Imperium." image

    This is what i'm thinking - a three-tiered system.

    -At the bottom will be normal members, who will have access to guild facilities, raids, activities and perks, but no decision-making.

    - Next are normal officers.  They can + will recruit normal members, and will vote on certain issues.  All founding members will be given at least a normal officer position.

    - On top are the Guild Leaders.  They are officers that hold positions with more responsibility in the guild.  Some will be elected, others appointed.  I have three now, but plan on adding at least 2 more.
