More than 70% of WoW's player base doesn't even raid or even like that play style, so who fricken cares if a measly 30% of the player base starts whining about their outdated epics.  You fricken raiders with your arrogant sense of entitlement.

With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression, anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privilege. - Neanderthal

I think that nothing will kill wow. WoW wont die from any one thing, only time. However, if your definition of 'dying' is will they lose players...then yes, I believe there will be less players playing WoW after the next expansion. I honestly believe that any game peaks just before its first expansion. once a game goes into expansions..its on the way down.

WOW will kill itself, cos it fails to provide real new content or gaming features. Adding just new places to continue the endless grind will not do the trick.

People been saying that for 3 years, WoW is what wow is it wont change over night and wont do an NGE. It does not need to change its game, it changes but does it at the right pace unlike other games that have fallen on their faces due to not sticking with the original design that players loved.

In WotLK we get more of what WoW players love plus a new class, new profession and improved world PvP... and those are just the highlights.. we also get new skills/talents, new lands to explore, new dungeons to plunder, new battle ground to whoop ass in, new monsters to fight, new items to collect and new new mounts too... its all good.. oh and we also get barber shops to change out hair style

If you consider the game a grind then dont play but also dont play any other MMO cus at end game its either a PvE or a PvP grind its the same thing... repetition.

Only thing that will kill WoW will be a new MMO from blizzard... 'starcraft online' any one?

I really think to extend wow's life it needs to evolve, expand and improve. But yes, your right, enough people will continue to enjoy it. And as long as they have fun, who am I to disagree :D. We'll just see what happends, I know many guildies who are really tired of the grind solution blizz continues to offers.

In the end, if you like it, just have fun!

If they continue with the idea that they don''t need to give players, and incentive to continue playing by not adding good content. Alos if they keep up with that stupid idea of allowing gnomes, Night Elves, Taurens, Draenei, Trolls, Orcs, and Blood Elves as Death Knights, then it will be a WoW killer.
