Its content the devs are aiming to include far exceeds the basic approach warhammer gives, in war you don't really have to work for anything you just get thrown into a 'hopefully' fun environment. Yes, even a simpleton such as you both should acknowledge that a game like WAR which is oriented toward RvR, won't need new content every month to keep the player base happy: The RvR will generate enough conflict and replayability to give MANY YEARS of objectives to fight for. WoW is a raiding game, and still manage to caught 9 millions subscribers after 3 years. I bet WAR can hit the million mark "easily" and keep it that high for half a decade.

Yes its beta footage, not denying that, the fact is I offered my opinion, backed it up with a video which imo shows a strong similarity (blind to miss it) in the core mechanic of both games - nothing more, nothing less. There even was 2 people agreeing the similarity and one saying "interesting to say the least" why dont you quote them too? On the face of it they look the same even though they will play different - thats what I don't like, but it can't be helped due the art direction of both games.
If you read the rest of my quote its in context of the conversation above it, talking about differences between war and darkfall, again offering my opinion in lieu of the conversation direction.

WAR nor Conan could never be more than WoW clones in the PvP area because they don't have full loot.
Attacking your adversary will have no impact and you just have an endless zerg -> die -> spawn cycle.
I'm not suprised the war between the two spills over the borders sometimes. And let it, because when they are tired of leveling and endless raiding or zerging, they will come over to DF to find some meaningfull gaming

OMG WAR fanbois are on the attack because the game got delayed to 2nd quarter 2008 and it will probably be delayed again. Let's not get too crazy, it's not DF's fault that WAR will be a WOW clone with battleground type of pvp enabled. WAR shut down the beta for 2 months cause they could not handle the criticism they were getting from the testers. Not to mention that the game itself was first Canceled and then resurrected by Mythic, guess what EA acquired Mythic recently so don't get your hopes up about WAR..... the game will be released if an when EA decides if there is enough WOW injected into WAR.
The only reason WAR was delayed to Q2 on of 08 cause of stupid EA merging with Bioware, and they are doing "Head counts" learn your shit, I just love people that have never played an MMO before WoW and know nothing about MMOS but cause they played WoW they are gods on MMOS go you go you MMO gods.
