I find it amusing yet kind of sad that you would call anyone who sees it that way unstable. They put tons of time in to whatever they were doing just to have it taken away. I can see their point. Not only was it all taken away but it was replaced with soemthing that was inferior. With something that had even more bugs then the buggy game they had.

Well I guess it depends on how far they take it. To the best of my knowledge no one killed their entire families or went to SOE looking to go postal. All these people did was bitch on a forum. When the NGE hit I believe I was pissed for about a week and then I didn't care enough to continue the fight. Thats just me though. I have a different opinion of what my time was worth I guess. You ask what these people lost. Well time and confidence in a product. It really all boils down to that. Large amounts of time invested in to something that proved to be useless in the game they were investing all that time in to.
I think a lot of people assume that people who complain just sit and think about this crap all day long. How long did you sit and think before you posted? They are the same way. No one is plotting and planing their next post. I doubt anyone is at work dreaming of posting on this forum about bashing SWG. In the end it is just a forum and yet another way to waste time. A lot of people feel like they got screwed. I dont know nor am I going to argue if they did or not. The bottom line is that is the common perception that a lot of vets have.
false. only the unstable ones have that perception. the rest of us just went and played something else til they got their act somewhat together. the game is fun again but i'd never try to convince any of those so called vets of that. i am glad they're gone since they would be nothing but disruptive if they came back.
btw i am a pre cu vet myself so i was subjected to the alleged screwing you speak of. the only diff being i was adult enough to wait it out. it's just a game yet a lot of folks on the you know what forum seem to have forgotten that. sucks to be them.
Well Heck, I guess sec figuring a general statistic.damn 90% of the SWG pre NGE players are unstable, game went from over 600,000 subs to 60k almost immediately after.
Maybe its because most of the players are American, the world knows we're are unstable and mentally challenged, and of course ignorant fools.
Well my European friends agreed with me so the Europeans dam* them are unstable SoBs too.
