Somebody need to make a full pvp game like UO and Shadowbane. I am tired of WoW soft PvP system. I want to gank people and make there MMOs life horrible. I am tired of good vs evil games. Lets stop the factions and put all vs all.

Not so. As a primary PVEr i truely hope that FFA PVP fans get the game they want soon.
I dont think the player base would be huge but i could be wrong. We need different genres of MMOs to come out. If everyone keeps making clones of WoW because WoW makes a ton of money then the whole genre is going to go into the toilet.
I want a PVE game that makes you actually play your character, i.e. you need spell components, you have to eat, rest, it takes you more then a month to reach max level (hell, it takes you more then a year), etc etc. I probably wont get that either.
PVP children must be having a poor week , this is what the 4th post about it in as many days lol.

oh, it's that time of the year again, countless threads about FFA PVP.
We have no good game to play at the moment sadly. And most of us are waiting on Darkfall, which is taking a very long time! But I shall not give up hope... yet atleast.
I noticed all these FFA pvp threads too. I hope we aren't going all over it again.

Seems to me that most of these FFA PVP threads are mostly full of posts by you, pigeon holing everyone who enjoys that ruleset.

They are tired of being ganked by more experienced people and are looking for some fresh blood for revenge.

No one has any good games to play. They are all based of the grind which was invented god know how many years ago. I remember doing the grind in the first Final Fantasy, and it continues to this day int he form of MMOs. At least a lot of single player RPGs have moved past this archiac form of gaming.
Yes... You would want that game. I would want that game. Even though I'm a hardcore fan of PvP.
I would still play that game, even if it didn't have any PvP. Because then it would be about your character, and the actual "roleplaying".
I would probably still play a PvP game, but I would want those 2 games, and not just 1 "uber game", because that aint happening.

It really doesnt matter what any of us want. Game developers are seeing the huge dollar signs brought in by WoW so what we are going to get is more and more simplified, linear, no brainer games that they hope will compete with, and steal money from WoW. I dont think i can survive years and years of the next WoW.
Now all you WoW fans dont jump on me too soon. I have no real problem with WoW, i played it, i didnt hate it, but i didnt care if i played it either. Simply my experience. The reason WoW could ruin fantasy MMOs is not because it is a simplistic, linear, no brainer game (again my views) but because it brought in so many people (due to the franchise) and brings in so much money that game developers are becoming unwilling to make any other type of game.
I have some small hope for AOC but i am not crossing my fingers.
The only game out there that touches what i am looking for is Vanguard and its launch may have kept it from every being anything that has a population. And Vanguard really doesnt do it either.

If anything, I'm still curious why ganking is a bad thing, just give people options to run and/or hide. I mean, where's the fun in beeing sure to win... make it sci fi, give us radars, stim packs and flare guns, put NPC patrols that see flares...
Ah forget it, I try to think trough a way it could be done but every time I or anyone who isn't knee jerking against PVP get zerged down so our comments become just a drop, not in bucket, but more like in a see.

Rakion is a full pvp game no roleplay in it jst play other people and lvl by honour and buy new weps and amour

UO and Shadowbane? You're such a pansy-ass. I say we bus the players out to an arena in Texas and make them fight no-holds-barred knife fights. That's REAL PvP!

It doesn't require imagination to make a FFA PvP game. It's already been done before. I'd rather see something completely new that isn't based completely on PvP.
FFA PvP servers will have to do as forcing everyone into a FFA PvP situation = low subscriptions. I admit it's fun getting your revenge after you level up and going out pwning some newbies but there's such a choice on the market now that it would die quickly.
Make FFA PvP servers or faction vs faction PvP servers, SB blows and EVE got a PvP nerf the day they nerfed the war mechanic. Probably why I play BF: 2142 instead of EVE now, personally I'm awaiting PotBS and it's dynamic PvP zones.
BTW if HG:L has a forum on this site then I demand BF: 2142 gets one too, just in 2142 the teamplay is better :P

so you want to kill anyone anywhere for no reason. that's some bad roleplay right there. perhaps you're looking for an MMO instead of a MMORPG.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
You are part of a very very small group, a group so small you’re not even worth investing in, and at the end of the day... MMO companies are just that.. Companies wanting to make a profit.
They will make no profit off of your type of game play.
Developers want to make a fun games, investors want to make money. Investors usually win.
Only way that mechanic will ever work is if the investment in your player is small. That rules out most MMORPG trappings.

Its called FFA PvP, meaning free for all not just "FULL" pvp which is as vague as the bible. and soft pvp? stop making up terms. just because its FFA does not make it hard, in fact its often alot easier because people Zerg/gank. nor is it "real" pvp, you bias noobcake.
FYI, AoC is 100% FFA and looks like the best mmo in development so you FFA fans need to quit being emos.
