    That is true. Although in that particullar case, they had already established a game and they were releasing a content expansion to it. In this case however, my guess is that they want to establish StarCraft 2 as a game before they throw another brand new StarCraft title out there.

    All Blizzard needs to do is release starcraft 2 to establish it as a game, theres 35 million starcraft fanboys who will buy the game regardless of whether it is any good or not. So there is a possiblity they could do what they did with wow and release a star craft mmo a year after sc2 is released.

     

    edit: i dont think they will release a mmo tbh any time soon it will just cut into wows subscribers unless it is a game aimed at the pvp market which i doubt would be any good if blizzard make it if their attemps at wows pvp are to go by.
