There a beta for it yet?
Not yet, the devs have hinted that the Beta may be in early 08, they wanted it by the end of '07, but didn't make it. They have state that most/all of the game mechanics are in the system, and are now filling the world with content and fixing bugs.

Aion will have more subs. Graphics are really outstanding, gameplay seems pretty cool, flying is something that will appeal to alot of people, not to mention flying combat. I also feel this game will be more polished than AOC and WAR.
