Yep blame the community. You people are always crying about Devs not listening to the players, but WoW did listen to its players and this is what we got. Thats why there is constant nerf bats and the first MMO game that has had a constant FOTM class every patch.
All those millions of subscribers enjoying themselves is what I really hate. Don't they know they're playing a crap game that's singlehandedly ruined an entire genre that was created for and owned by the hardcore veterans? They have to be stopped! Someone please, make them stop smiling!!! We'll turn their laughter into tears and their joy will be crushed by the righteous judgement of the true defenders of MMOs everywhere!
WoW haters (or any game haters) need a serious perspective correction.
MMOs Played: EQ 1&2, DAoC, SWG, Planetside, WoW, GW, CoX, DDO, EVE, Vanguard, TR Playing: WAR Awaiting 40k Online and wishing for Battletech Online

To all WoW haters - Get over it? If people want to play a casual friendly, newbie friendly game, then so be it. The subscriber base of WoW doesn't lie, people actually do like playing this type of game. If you don't, then leave, it's as simple as that.
hmm, I don't know how to make sarcasm any clearer than I did... (I think /sarcasm is just dumb) I'll make it clear. I don't agree with hating on ANY game. EDIT: or maybe I'm the one mistaken and you were agreeing with me.
Your sarcasm was extremely apparent, like a slap in the face. I was agreeing with you and merely adding my own thoughts

All ive got left is AoC, EvE and possibly WAR
This is a fallacy that seems to be perpetrated in every MMO to date. You make it sound as if the devs are automatons and we need only push buttons to make them do what we want. This couldn't be further from the truth. Griping and whining only encourage the devs to look at a potential problem, they and only they will decide if there is any merit to the complaints. Sadly, they are human just like everyone else and they make mistakes just like anyone else so their fixes may cause problems. That is not the fault of the complainers, it's solely on the devs themselves. They may be the professionals, but this genre is still in it's early stages and they don't always know what they are doing or how to fix a problem, so they do what they can and if it doesn't work out, they try to come up with other solutions and sometimes they're what the players want and sometimes they aren't.
The developers ARE the people responsible for their games and any changes that take place and always will be. The only blame you can pin on the community is whether they're good sports or spoil sports. End of story.
With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression, anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privilege. - Neanderthal
Level 70s who kill level 30s, because they get SO much honor, and it's a challenge...I mean pressing "2" once is so hard it is unbelievable how they are capable of doing it.

Too much pve raiding for my taste.
Pointless and repetitive gameplay that gives you little to no reward for taking part in it.
Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.
