Im also a follower of the game .....but before christmas we were promised an update after the holidays.
it is now feb 11 05 there is no doubt that this game will be released ,but come on... how long does it take to use fraps and record 3, 5 minute videos load them on to the site then let us have a look see! This game will own all others when it is released it has conceptsof tommorow but at this rate they will be the concepts of yesterday when it is released, so by that time it will be the same ol same ol. I really do not want that to happen.
So I am stuck waiting for the promised update.

The game seen a ton of progress, keep in mind that most of the games never even release that much info when they are in an early state of development.

You know, you really cannot compare what happened with G&H (a game I was not impressed with even without being in beta btw) and this joke of a game.
G&H actually went beta including a relatively large pulbic beta. It was seen as wanting and killed before release like a great many traditional games are. They sucked it up, admitted the game was flawed and killed it - they took the high road even if the company is a joke.
This vaporware known as Darkfall has been on the verge of beta longer than most two games take to develop back-to-back. Instead of admitting the do not have the talent to pull of everything they promise they just keep recycling the same bs over and over.

Actually Killershiver, if spent more than .078 seconds glossing over Pyro's post you might have noticed he said "because i don't think the game will release. . .". I believe that speaks quite clearly of an opinion. Your flame of any and all doubters to this games release smacks of desperation. And no wonder, after 6-odd years of empty promises by the devs, it's really all you folk have left. I too would love to see this game release but alas, I fear I must concur with Pyro on this one: I just don't see it happening. I hope I'm wrong, I really REALLY do. But frankly, I'm amazed there are still people around who swallow what the Darkfall devs are telling us. It all just seems like so much smoke and desperation. But hey, time will tell (or maybe it won't) . . .
