And in getting a 7k$ comp from Dell you get parts for a 1200$ (if that) comp and a service contract that lets them bill you for every broken part for the next three-to-ten years.
Of course, if this 7k$ comp is actually a work computer, it's possible it actually has settings that cripple using 'uncertified' software by lowering its priority settings for the cpu. And it usually means you shouldn't be installing EVE on it anyways (and will get fired if you got the boot.ini-nerf).
The expansion release was an utter disaster, and the new graphics engine has nauseating performance. I have a 7-grand gaming system and I can't even run it with decent settings. Not to mention the models only look slightly better. Without the graphics update, this patch is simply a few more ships, minor features, and a few fixes. Anyone else disappointed? Just reading around the main forums I've concluding that everyone is pissed.
apparently you are a retard, and dont know how to buy a computer(or are a liar)...you paid 7k...FOR WHAT? i have a 2 year old computer, that cost maybe 750 dollars to build, and i run trinity on max settings and didnt notice any difference from the original. im running an amd64 3200+ 2gb ram and a 256mb 6800gt (p.s. you could probably build this system for around $400 now, lol).
You guys need to get off the 7k computer crap, goto the dell website the new xps fully loaded is right at 9k and if he can afford to pay that for a computer great for him just cause all you ppl calling him a lair can't, don/y rag someone else as far as him having issues with the update i don't know what to say.
because if you let Dell rip you off like that, you ARE stupid.

Did they get that Boot.ini :nerf" fixed?? it's made me a little edgey about updating the client and resubbing.

2 hours after the bugged patch was released it was taken off air and fixed. It was then re-released 4 hours later without the Bug.
