I think I said it before, but I'll say it again. If everything the OP said will be in the final game, I certainly would give it a try. I don't know how long I could stand it (hell, maybe I love it), but I would try.
That said, I highly doubt it will ever come out. Cya in WAR or AoC...or whatever...
I would definately try it out. How long I would stay depends on how bad the community gets. Old UO worked but online gaming then and online gaming now are two completely different beasts.
If/when DFO comes out, I'll definitely be playing it. This is sort of a no-brainer. FFA PvP, full loot, skill based (no classes, no levels), FPS combat, full friendly fire, player collision, city building, etc.
Absolutely anyone who is interested in PvP will be playing DFO if/when that day comes.
Most likey people interested in MMOs will try it. People try any and every new MMO out there.
The thing with DFO is that its taken a "long" time and people followed it, got all excited, and now cry vapor simply because they're fed up with waiting. But them being fed up with waiting doesn't really matter. It'll come out or it won't, but it it does come out, people will check it out.
TF2 was recently released and supposedly was 9 years in the making. So its not necessarily vapor because its taken a long time. Those that insist it is are just QQ'ing because they're sick of waiting. boo hoo

I don't think the vaporware cries are so much on long development time, but lack of info. I've seen many of the complains about only getting a couple videos a year. Now, we see alot of screenshots, like, every dev journal.

And back to topic. Hell yeah I would play it Provided it has some sort of badass PvE aswell. I am a PvP maniac but I like PvE a lot aswell.
If it comes out , I m going to church again and begin saying my Hail Mary's. You know about 20 hours after its annouced Earth will be hit by a giant space rock , we ll all goto Hell , where the only games you can play are WoW or Lineage 1. Since its hell , AeroSmith or Green Day will be playing 24/7 until the end of time. Or worst yet , they ll tape our eyes open , forcing us to watch Ellen dance nake to Michael Bolten music.

Dude , games like Mourning and Dark and light had hundreds of screenshots as well. And many of them looked MUCH better than anything darkfall has ever released...

did you see the leaked a;lpha vid from 2003? it clearly shows he was playing it mind you its was very alpha
on another note when mourning failed that guy with the big ego started harrassing the df devs and started calling there product vapor emailing them and what note (not sure what became of it all but i think he still hangs out over on df.warcryforums and say alot of stuff trying to defunk them and i have a feeling he is here 2 but not sure witch one he is
im not sure why you guys waist your time posting if you dont like how they do things if this game fails we just move on if you guys are wrong oyu having nothing if your right you have nothing so why waist the time?
