Looks awesome, and a big refresh from the classic orc elf sword fantasy theme, and if they can remove the grind thats a big plus.
Thanks to the OP for posting this, never heard of APB before, and indeed a big diffrence from the most of the others MMO's around.

I didn't see any character creation in that link. I saw a city, some cars running around, and I saw that they were using Vista with made me a little nauseous, and some people cheering at the end, but thats about it.

Heh, I can quite easily say that this game made my purchase list... As oposed to WAR and AOC...
Why? I like cops and robbers, I am tired of swords and majic and most importantly, I might never run into my clone in the game....ever! (and no, wearing same clothes does not make clones.)

There are four APB videos and I guess in my excitement I grabbed the wrong url. Either way... that kind of chracter creatuion and customization has never, as far as I know, been done. It's the most advanced I've ever seen and I'm totally in love with it. I hope more MMORPG designers & devs take good notice and follow suit.

The character creation looks amazing. What is this game based off of and whats the objective of it? I haven't ever seen anything like this for an mmo. This looks like it could turn very addicting for a lot of players.
Why in the name of goodness is this title not even on the Game List? It's a super concept.
It's slated to release in 2008 (even if it's not true) and looks promising to those looking for alternatives to orcs and elves.

Looks good, btw it says it is for PC and next generation consoles on their site unless the site is out of date.
Nice to finally see a GTA online in some shape or form, even if it does not bare the name.

I've actually posted about APB a good few times - but much like Webzen's other games, it's been in development forever... granted Webzen is the publisher not the developer but still, their games seem to be in dev for a long long time.

We definitely have a winner here.
Action-PvP with purpose and no grind? No ganking, the server select who fight who, so you never know? That's is a PvPer dreams come true, never knowing what to expect. You may have to fight 20 noobs(zerg!) or the ultimate best soloer on the server, you never know.
Unless I am mistaken, this fit the bill of what is about the most requested by various peoples on these forums.

Wait a sec hold up- this guy worked on Crackdown xbox360? I LOVED that game. Awesome open world coop game. With just a bit more time it wouldve gotten even more fans. But even now their forums are still busy

Its coming from Webzen which means it will never come out. Whatever happened to Huxley, shouldnt that come out before they start advertising this?
Webzen doesnt release much info about huxely in english but they are in beta in korea.
Also apb looks awesome and so does huxely cant wait to try them both.

Indeed that is the best character creation i have seen so far. I don't know how I feel about the world though, cause I'm not a big fan of present day/urban vice city sort of stuff. But i hope this kind of char gen begins a standard that other games try to emulate in the future.
Waiting for: A skill-based MMO with Freedom and Consequence.
